HollywoodLife.com revealed that Desiree (Des) Hartsock will be the next Bachelorette and filming is to begin this week with the show premiering May 20th. Some say that AshLee was the front runner to be the next Bachelorette until she blew it after Sean let her go. Her cold and childish goodbye revealed a childish, immature side to her that didn’t sit well with audiences. The announcement will officially be made on tomorrow night’s (March 11) finale of The Bachelor where Sean chooses the woman he wants to marry. The Bachelor producers have always chosen a Bachelorette from a previous season of The Bachelor. Whereas, not all Bachelors have come from previous episodes of The Bachelorette, but the last several season has been that case. Producers say they get more viewers and audience engagement when done this way because fans are already invested in the people. Some Bachelors that I wouldn’t mind coming back for the next season would be Jef Holm, Arie Luyendyk, or Chris Bukowski. Okay, they’re all from Emily Maynard’s season, but still some favorites of mine!
I think the producers did a great job casting Des as the next Bachelorette. She seems very level headed, sweet, fun, happy, attractive, and deserves a nice man! Excited to meet the next 25 guys that vie for her affection!
