Like the rest of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans out there, I watched Monday’s episode which led directly into the Lisa Vanderpump’s spinoff, Vanderpump Rules. I got about ten minutes into it and I just had to shut it off. I know Bravo claims the Real Housewives franchise is real, not scripted, not fake, but I’m not so sure the same goes for this housewives spinoff. The staff at the restaurant SUR is completely casted. They are all beautiful, and as the blonde says, each of them is either trying to be an actress, a writer, a director, a singer, etc. On top of that they are all either dating or used to be dating or now dating someone else’s ex. There is no way that this restaurant would have this many people in common in a city like L.A. Therefore I have come to the conclusion that I have no interest in watching a scripted reality show that is too much like The Hills. Anyone watching it? What was your reaction?
