Erin Andrews will replace Brooke Burke-Charvet on Dancing With the Stars after her seven series run. The switch up (firing) must have been a shock to Brooke who issued this statement to E! Online:
“I have enjoyed seven seasons co-hosting DWTS but understand the need for change considering the position of the show at this juncture,” Burke-Charvet said. “I’ve always been one to embrace change and [I’m] looking forward to pursuing opportunities I previously wasn’t able to entertain because of contractual obligations to the show. I’ve seen my fair share of shocking eliminations in the ballroom, but this one takes the cake.”
FOX Sports Reporter, Erin Andrews was a contestant on DWTS during season 10 and will now be co-hosting Tom Bergeron in the show’s 18th season.
Brooke is putting on a happy face and not burning bridges by tweeting:
Thanks for all the love & support. I loved my time in the ballroom & I’ll love my next chapter too. Change is positive. Love you guys!
