Celebrity Apprentice: “And Then There Were Two” Season 12, Ep 13

It is down to Clay, Arsenio, and Aubrey. My prediction for the final two are Clay and Aubrey.  I just don’t feel that Arsenio is a strong enough leader.  Who will make it to the finale??  We are about to find out!

Each of them gives their reasons why they should be in the final two.  Trump says that Aubrey is too transparent and is then fired.  Aubrey is fired.  I am very surprised Arsenio is still around.  I like him, but I just don’t know that he is a big enough leader.  If you would have told me at the very beginning that the final two would be Arsenio and Clay, I would have never believed you!  But at least the final two are likable people.  I like the friendship between Clay and Arsenio.  So now what will make or break these guys are the teams that they build from the fired contestants.

Produce, Host, and Sell Tickets to a charity event is their task.  They have to put on a variety show for the entertainment piece of the event.  So now they have to pick their teams in alternating fashion:

Arsenio picks: Adam Corolla, Lisa Lampanelli, Paul Sr, Teresa Guidice – biggest mistake is picking Teresa over Aubrey.  Are you kidding me?  I’d rather have Aubrey ANY day!!

Clay picks: Penn Jillette, Debbie Gibson, Dee Snider, Aubrey O’day

Clay sits down with his team and talks about his charity that he is playing for:  National Inclusion Project.  The project is including special needs/disabled children in everyday activities in school and extra curricular activities.

Clay delegates tasks to each team member.  Aubrey came up with the idea to have it be a carnival team to tie it back to the charity.

On Arsenio’s team, they’re trying to come up with an ad for the Magic Foundation that brings the focus back on the AIDS issue.  They are getting Magic Johnson to do the PSA part of it.  Arsenio plans to start off with comedy but then have Magic deliver the facts about AIDS and the foundation.

Adam and Teresa go down to a costume shop to get some 80’s gear for their 30 second Public Service Announcement.  Adam’s hysterical in the store!  They did a good job picking out the outfits though.

Back to team Clay:  Penn is trying to get Clay to see compassion without pity in the PSA.  He came out with the concept for the PSA which was pretty good.  Seeing an empty wheelchair, then panning to children playing.  We can’t tell which one of them has a disability and neither can they…. is the tagline.  Clay, Debbie, and Dee are coming up with music to perform.  Debbie and Clay are coming up with a lot of cheesy music (Baby Love, Don’t Go Breakin My Heart, etc)  Dee is really not feeling it, but says he’s done a lot worse.  In walks Don Jr and he says to the camera that they have great ideas and it seems to be coming together, but nobody is currently raising money.

Arsenio put total trust in Teresa for the caterers.  Teresa picks a pork, beef, chicken, and fish dishes.  Something noticeable to me right away is that there isn’t any vegetarian food.  Not sure if this will be an issue, or if the fish will suffice.

Aubrey is trying to take over Clay’s event.  Shooting ideas at him like 100 mph and just goes nuts with it.  Clay is trying to rein her in.

Clay’s team goes out to location and there’s a train continuously going by nearby and so they’re not able to get the audio they need for the PSA.  So they’re scrambling look for another location, but not many parks in NYC with grass and such where children can play.

Meanwhile Arsenio’s team is shooting their 80’s themed PSA.  “The clothes have changed, but AIDS is still here.” is their message.  Things seem to be going smoothly with Adam directing.

Team Clay is still wandering around NYC looking for a place to shoot.  Penn suggested a long time ago to just take it to a studio instead, but Clay didn’t like that idea.  Penn didn’t like his idea being shot down though.  They finally found a spot to shoot the video and the kids and crew showed up and it was great.

Arsenio goes to the editing bay to edit the PSA and splice it with the video from Magic that they had taped back in L.A.

Clay goes into edit and he and Debbie gets into an argument over where the music should come in during the PSA.  Lisa calls Clay and tell him that she’ll donate to his charity even though she’s on Arsenio’s team.  That was really nice of her for Clay, but I wouldn’t be too happy if I were Arsenio, but I guess it’s all for a good cause.

Clay’s team is going over the music and the Clay that I have been expecting all along is finally coming out!!!  Clay is completely uptight, condescending, almighty, arrogant.  THIS is the Clay that I’ve always thought he was like.  He has no patience for Debbie (not saying without reason), he’s doing “the teeth grinding thing” as Penn calls it, and keeps cutting everyone off.  This will be his Achilles heal.  Now Debbie is beginning to shut down, Penn has the attitude that he could have done it better, and Dee hates the whole thing.  Now he’s the obnoxious ass that I’ve always thought him to be. Debbie and Clay then get into another argument about the mural that is going to be painted on the wall by Debbie’s cousin.  Clay doesn’t want anything going on the wall until he sees a sketch.  Aubrey even chimes in and says that Debbie’s cousin is legit, but Clay doesn’t care.  He does not want anything going up without a sketch.  Debbie gets completely pissed off and says she doesn’t even know why she agreed to come back.  Going into this I was totally on Team Clay, but now…. holy smokes.  He really needs to turn this around to win me over again.

Arsenio and Adam are still in the editing room.  They finally receive the tape that Magic did for them in L.A. and there was a major miscommunication.  The entire video has Magic turned sideways talking to the camera.  He’s not facing the camera at all.  It’s crap.  Arsenio doesn’t know how he’s even going to be able to use it and it was a crucial piece to their PSA.   Episode Ends.

Next week is the live finale!!  Can’t wait to see how it all turns out!

Survivor: One World – Season 24 Finale

This recap will be short and sweet because I am writing it after the fact instead of while I was watching it.  I don’t usually recap Survivor because it is one of the few shows I watch with my husband and we just like to relax and enjoy it.

Starts off with the final five women: Alicia, Christina, Sabrina, Kim, and Chelsea.  Kim wins immunity and has to decide between Alicia to send home or Chelsea.  She also still has the hidden immunity idol and has the option to give it to someone.  Chelsea makes a plea for her to give it to her, but in the end Kim decides to just keep it and let it go unplayed.  She decides to be true to Chelsea though and votes out Alicia.  Alicia and Christina voted for Chelsea and Kim, Chelsea, and Sabrina voted Alicia off.

Next immunity challenge, Kim wins again.  My husband wanted Christina to win just to shake things up a bit, but I was ecstatic that Kim won.  She is approached by Christina who asks her if she’s the one going home and Kim tells her yes.  Christina basically just lied down and took it.  She didn’t even fight or try to go to Sabrina or Chelsea about different options.  Jeff calls her out on this at tribal.  Tribe has spoken… Christina is voted off.

So final three: Chelsea, Kim, and Sabrina go to the final tribal council where members of the jury asked questions.  It was quite emotional.  Kat revealed she has a heart condition and will be undergoing heart surgery next year so she doesn’t want to stay mad at all of them because life is too short.  The jury was overall very respectful in their questions.

Everyone has voted.  Flash to the reunion.  Jeff reads the votes.  Sabrina received 2 or 3 votes (which were 2 or 3 more than I thought she would receive) but Kim took the rest of the votes that were read.  Kim is the winner of Survivor One World!!!  And I couldn’t be happier.  She deserves it!  She also revealed in the final episode that she’s newly divorced and this gave her something to be proud of and feel empowered by that she made a right decision by playing Survivor.

Now just waiting for the results of the $100,000 winner of the Fan Favorite award.   Kim wins the fan favorite award too!!  She’s not even smiling though…  I bet she feels a bit guilty for it or something.  She has such a big heart.

Next Survivor will be in the Philippines with three returning veterans who were airlifted out from their original seasons before they had the chance to play their season out.  The contestants will be split into three tribes.   It looks really good and I would be that Colton will be one of those three coming back.

Cancelled TV Shows for 2012

A friend of mine suggested doing a blog on what shows have been recently cancelled.  Great idea!

The information I found about what shows have been cancelled were listed on TVDoneWright.com

Below is a list of shows that were cancelled during the spring/summer.  For a list of shows cancelled in the fall of 2012, please see this blog entry: Canceled shows for 2012-2013 season

CBS has officially cancelled the following shows:

  • How to be a Gentleman – not surprised this has been cancelled… I’ve never even heard of it.
  • A Gifted Man
  • Rob

  • Unforgettable – **Updated – Now Officially SAVED!!!
  • CSI: Miami – **Updated – Now Officially Canceled!

ABC Official cancel list:

  • Desperate Housewives (Final Season)
  • Charlie’s Angels
  • Man Up!
  • Extreme Makeover: Home Edition – This one had a good run, I agree it’s time to move on.  Only so many houses can be built in which the people will never be able to pay the property taxes on.  Seriously.
  • Work It
  • Cougar Town (Moving to TBS) – When the entire cast has come out in separate interviews completely bashing the name of the show and how it has nothing to do with what the show is about, it’s not surprising that it’s moving to TBS and off regular network tv.
  • GCB – this one I am surprised by.  I thought it was getting great reviews even through the controversy and the sponsors dropping out.  I have 8 episodes on my DVR that I just never got around to watching, but always intended to.  Guess I might as well just delete them now.  But I love Kristin Chenoweth
  • Pan Am
  • Missing
  • The River

NBC Official Cancels:

  • Chuck (Final Season) – I seriously thought this ended last season.
  • Free Agents
  • The Playboy Club
  • Prime Suspect
  • The Firm
  • Best Friends Forever
  • Bent
  • Are You There Chelsea
  • Awake
  • Harry’s Law – watched the first several episodes and loved it.  Then they started adding a bunch of characters and actors from Boston Legal and I couldn’t take it anymore
  • Fear Factor
  • The Marriage Ref
  • Minute to Win It
  • The Sing-Off – Sad to see this one go 😦
  • Who Do You Think You Are?

On the Bubble:

  • Biggest Loser – **Updated – Now Officially Renewed!
  • Celebrity Apprentice – **Updated – Now Officially Renewed!

Fox Officially Canceled:

  • House (Final Season)
  • Allen Gregory
  • Terra Nova
  • Alcatraz
  • The Finder
  • I Hate My Teenage Daughter – watched the first episode and hated it.  Hate the title too.
  • Breaking In
  • Napoleon Dynamite – not cancelled yet, but is expected to be.  Didn’t even realize they made a show about him.  Is it a cartoon?

So there you have it.  As more shows are added I will update this list.  What are your thoughts?  Any surprises?

American Idol: Results Show 5-10-12 David Cook & Jennifer Lopez perform!

I don’t want anyone to go home!!!  Okay, but if someone has to go then probably Hollie.  But she’s such a sweetie!  Also, I respect Joshua…. I think he’s amazing… but that man is not going to sell records.  Just like Taylor Hicks, Lee Dewyze, etc.  They’re just not quite cool enough to be played on the radio where they’re going to sell millions.  Phillip Phillips… not he could sell millions of records.

First up… group song… California Dreamin’.  Wow, they look nervous!!  It’s got to be hard to be that close to the end and being worried you’re going to go home tonight.  The four just look so stiff!!  The set is really cool though with a red carpet rolled out along the stage leading to the judges and the fans are all on the stage cheering them on.

Ford music video… fast forward… blah blah blah…

Phillip Phillips is up first… Jimmy loves it, especially the Damien Rice “Volcano” song.   So good!  Ugh!!  Ryan’s making him go back to the couch to wait.

Now Hollie  Cavanaugh is up… Jimmy didn’t like her performance, especially “I Can’t Make You Love Me.”  He said she crashed and burned.  Waiting for the results… she goes back to the couch, for now.

David Cook performs!  “The Last Song I Write for You” His hair is a nice shade of red.  I think he’s getting cuter with age.  The song is just okay for me though.  Doesn’t seem to have as big of a hook as I would usually like in a song, but I like the lyrics.

Joshua Ledet up now… Jimmy didn’t like “You Raise Me Up”.  He can’t use the gospel singers each time, he says.  Jimmy loved “It’s a Man’s World”.  He wants to see it again and again and again.

Jessica Sanchez…. Jimmy thought she did a great job on Etta James’ song, but didn’t think it was a good song choice.  Jimmy loved everything about “You’re Gonna Love Me”.  Shock and Awe he said.

Jennifer Lopez performs “Dance Again”!!  Oooh elaborate set!  She looks hot from the waist up, but not sure it was the best outfit for the lower half.  She looks so fierce though!  I think she’s lip synching a little bit, but I can hear her live voice coming through as well.  Many singers that dance as hardcore as she does during their performances need to lip synch a bit because they get so winded. So strange to see her dancing with her new boyfriend, Casper, up there when at last season’s finale she was dancing with Marc Anthony, but she does look so much happier…. even giddy, almost.  By the way, her performance was pretaped, it was not live.  Idol does this with a number of their musical guests.

Dim the lights!  Here we go!  Jessica Sanchez is safe!!  She gets to go back to her hometown.  Joshua Ledet is safe!!  So it is down to Phillip and Hollie.  Please be Hollie! Please be Hollie! Please be Hollie!

Phillip is safe!!!  Hollie Cavanaugh is going home.  I’m a bit sad because she’s so stinking cute and talented, but it was her time to go.  I’m actually a little surprised she lasted this long.  But I do like her!  Bye Hollie!! I wish you well!!

Voice season 2 finale! Winner is announced!

Not for lack of being a fan, but because I can only watch so much TV in a week, I have not watched a single episode of this season’s The Voice until tonight.  Basically I’m just putting this out there so you all know who won if you didn’t have a chance to watch it.  Sorry for lack of details!!

Fourth place: Chris Mann

Third place:  Tony Lucca

Second place: Juliet Simms

1st place Winner of the Voice is…. Jermaine Paul of Blake’s team!!!  He had the most heart from what I could see, so I am happy he won!  Jermaine is the winner!  I loved his heartfelt speech at the end!!  He is just sobbing.  Man has heart!!  Can’t even sing “I believe I can fly!”  Love it!!!

Real Housewives of OC: Season 7, Ep 13: Whine & Cheese

Vicki and Tamra go bra shopping at the start of the episode now that Tamra had her implants removed.  They both get sized and Vicki is told she’s an FF and Tamra is a D.  There is no way Tamra is a D!  She’s a 32C at best.  Vicki says “I don’t think big boobies are appropriate.”  But a few weeks ago she’s the one that said she doesn’t know why anyone would want itty bitty titties.  Whatever!  They discuss Briana getting married in Vegas.  Vicki is obviously upset that they did this without telling her or including her.  She says she was robbed of her moment.  I can understand her being upset, but she’s making it all about her.  The good thing is that she realizes if she gets too upset by it, then she’ll lose Breana forever.

Slade goes out for a bike ride and meets up with Gretchen’s father, Scott.  He asks Scott’s permission to marry Gretchen!  He says he doesn’t know if Gretchen will say yes.  Scott says there are things Gretchen wants too, and they have a lot to talk about… finances, get his reputation cleaned up… the perception of what people think based on what others (Tamra) has said.  So Scott didn’t completely give it his blessing but didn’t say no either.  Just said they need to work things out first before they get married.

Flash to Gretchen and Tamra having lunch together.  Gretchen’s hair always looks great, I must say.  Tamra is reveals that she’s thinking of starting her own business… a fitness studio.  Some place that has fitness classes… not like a gym where you can go any time to work out.  She says she doesn’t want to tell Vicki about it because she always focuses on the negatives.  Tamra asks Gretchen about what’s going on with Slade.  Gretchen says she’s scared to marry him because she would be taking on his debt.  She’s financially sound and she doesn’t want to give that up.  She gets teared up and says she doesn’t know if she wants to get married.  She has some past things she needs to work through.

Vicki and Tamra have a party to launch their new wine club business.  They decide to have a super formal event.  Vicki plans to announce to everyone that Briana got married so that they all find out from her.  Breana’s going to meet Vicki’s boyfriend Brooks at the party.  Briana is apprehensive because Vicki is still technically married so Briana doesn’t really approve.

The party is on its way and everyone is dressed to the nines.  In walks Vicki’s son dressed in jeans.  Right off the bat he meets Brooks and Brooks takes him out on the balcony.  Brooks makes some small talk and says, “So that’s a pretty crazy thing your sister did, huh?” and Michael’s response is, “yeah… I don’t… I don’t really want to do this right now.”  lol and Brooks lets him off the hook and they awkwardly walk back inside.  Michael says he has no interest in getting to know Brooks and does not need a role model in his mom’s boyfriend.  Briana’s on her way to the party and telling her new husband that she’s really skeptical of Brooks.  He lives in another state, he has four children that live there, yet he’s with Vicki in the OC all the time.  Vicki’s buying him clothes, he driving her car, she just doesn’t get it.  She thinks he may be an opportunist.

So here’s the big moment when Vicki’s making the announcement about Briana.  She starts crying and acting like it’s a death sentence.  Everyone is so shocked.  Lol Gretchen says “What is Briana thinking??  Does she know who her mother is?!!”  haha.  All of the ladies can sympathize with Vicki.  Vicki tells Briana she has a surprise for her too and she says, “Oh god, don’t tell me you’re engaged.”  Vicki finds that statement very disrespectful.  Turns out Vicki just wanted to tell her that Uncle Billy was in town.  Vicki’s son Michael says he found out via facebook that Briana was married.  Eek!

Brooks tells Vicki about how great Michael is, how he loves him as if he was his own son.  What?!  He just met him!  Vicki asks him again how did their conversation go?  And Brooks avoids the question about going on about how he reminds him of himself at that age.  Vicki then goes and gets Briana to go meet Brooks.  They meet in a separate room at the party.  It is holy awkward, man!  Briana’s really put off that nobody knows anything about Brooks… what he does for a living, etc.  Vicki tries to say how she and Briana’s relationships are similar and Briana mumbles that it’s completely different.  Briana clearly doesn’t approve and isn’t even trying to fake like she does.  I don’t blame her at all for that.  I can see their mother-daughter relationship hitting a rough spot for awhile now.

Real Housewives of New Jersey: Season 4, Episode 3: “Third Eye Blind”

Housewives Kathy, Melissa, and Teresa are still vacation down at the Jersey Shore.  Jacqueline and her husband arrive to join Teresa and Joe.  Joe brings up to Chris the fight he got into with Rich which left him with a black eye.  Teresa confides in Jacqueline about the article that was in People magazine that she did in which she discusses her husband’s possibility of going away to prison and Joe Guidice says that Joe Gorga wouldn’t do anything to help support Teresa.  Jacqueline wonders why she’s doing these interviews and posing for pictures when she hasn’t even discussed these things with her best friend.  Is she profiting off people’s pity?  That’s what she’s wondering.  Teresa tells her about how she told her brother she thinks Melissa would leave him if she found a guy with more money.  J asks if she had any reason to believe that, and she just said, “she just strikes me as that kind of girl.”  She is just so jealous of Melissa.  Bottom line!

Cousin Rosie and Gorga’s mom are babysitting all the kids while the adults go out on the boat.  The kids are just running wild.  Who’s great idea was this??

Jacqueline tells the girls on the boat that Caroline’s going through menopause.  Teresa says “Oh! That’s why she’s been treating me so coldly, she’s going through menopause!”  Teresa keeps going on about how Caroline has such a short fuse.  Then Joe brings up to Rich that he’s never had a black eye before until the other night when Rich gave him one.  This gets the wives involved and stirs everything up.

Back at Caroline, Vito and Lauren are making dinner for the Manzo family.  Her brothers keep teasing them about how large their kids are going to be, heavy breathers, etc.  It really upsets Lauren.  Albie says he has a new girlfriend and shows a picture of her to Vito which makes Lauren feel insecure.

Next day… Jacqueline’s back in town and goes over to Caroline’s and they prepare for a solstice party.  Melissa shows up and tells Caroline about Teresa’s comments and behavior.  Caroline says “she’s willing to destroy a family to get you (Melissa) out of her life.”  Teresa and Kim “D” ride together to the solstice party. Kathy and Rosie arrive together.  Everyone is dressed in all white.  They’re all Italian, so of course they all look beautiful in white.   Rosie confronts Teresa about her comment about Melissa leaving her for another man with more money.  Teresa tries to defend her comments by saying that she was just trying to get Joe to open his eyes.  She says “he’s going to speak his mind and I’m going to speak mine.”  Rosie says, “well maybe everyone should just shut up.”  So true!!!  Go Rosie!!  Rosie decides to just let it go though.  Teresa puts Jacqueline in a bad position by asking her if Melissa talked to her and Caroline about the comment.  Jacqueline hesitates before answering and that makes Teresa angry because she feels that J is supposed to be her friend, not M’s.  So J signals M to come over to talk to T.  Teresa starts explaining what happened the day on the beach when she had that conversation with her brother.  T says she was hurt that her brother didn’t call when Joe “went away” (jail) for a few days.  Melissa says, “Do you know why he didn’t call you?  Because when he called about the auction, you denied it. (Teresa disagrees) When he called you about the DUI…”  Saying the word “DUI” hit a hot button for T and she go up and stormed out.  Saying she’s done talking.

Jacqueline runs after Teresa and tells her about how bad it makes her feel and she feels responsible.  Kim D is there defending Teresa.  Teresa says J feels like she’s in the middle because puts herself in the middle.  T asks J to go get Melissa and for her to say “I don’t want to talk about legal issues, but I want to talk to her about what’s going on.”  So Melissa goes to see her and Teresa further defends her comments saying she was completely justified in what she said.  The fight is escalating and it’s getting ugly.  As if it’s any surprise, Melissa’s really coming out on top of this one.  Teresa’s just not making any sense at all. Lots of hands waving all up and down.  I love watching Jersey girls fight.  haha.  Teresa and Melissa walk away and driving off.   Teresa says this whole thing was caused by her brother Joe for telling Melissa what Teresa said.  NOT the fact that Teresa made a very insulting comment to begin with!  What a frustrating episode!  But good tv, nonetheless.  🙂

Real Housewives of New York New Cast Members – Season 5

With the premier of RHONY coming June 4th, I got curious who was replacing Alex McCord and Jill Zarin.  I didn’t realize until I did the Google search that Cindy Barshop and Kelly Bensimon were also fired.  Can I get a Halleluiah that Kelly is not coming back?!!  For some reason I could always handle Alex’s crazy but not Kelly’s.  She drove me insane.   So who’s replacing these women and crazy enough to join Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, and Ramona Singer?

Here are their bios as listed on Bravotv.com:

Heather Thompson

A savvy and highly successful businesswoman, Heather Thomson is the creator of “Yummie by Heather Thomson,” a popular and innovative shapewear line. She was the founding Design Director for his Sean John line, and is credited as a major force behind multiple CFDA award nominations. A married mother of two, Jax, 6, and Ella Rae, 4, the idea for Yummie by Heather Thomson was born shortly after having her children. Disappointed by existing shapewear, she set out to create something sexier, comfier, and “yummier.” She came up with the patented 3-panel system that is now Yummie Tummie’s signature. Since the launch of the original tank, Yummie by Heather Thomson has expanded into ready-to-wear and denim. In addition to her professional work, Heather supports several charitable initiatives including Kelllner Family Pediatric Liver Disease Foundation and City of Hope.

Aviva continually teaches her family the importance of giving back through her philanthropic work as the National Spokesperson for One Step Ahead, an organization for amputees and as an Advisory Board Member of Cancer Schmancer/ Trash Cancer and for her work with the Live4Life Foundation.

So after reading their bios, I have to wonder… do these intelligent, beautiful women realize what they’ve signed up for?  They seem far too smart to be partaking in a Real Housewives show.  However, I am very excited about the new blood and maybe this will bring some more sophistication to the show (probably not).  Can’t wait for the season to begin, Monday, June 4th!!

Celebrity Apprentice: “Blown Away” S12, E12 Three People Fired!!

Three people will be eliminated tonight!!  Excited!!

Lisa goes back to the suite after last week’s boardroom firing and says they both got fired.  She tells the remaining contestants that Trump just went crazy and fired both Dayana and Clay.  They are in shock.  Arsenio is just completely freaking out.  And then in walks Clay…. they totally punked the other time.  Lisa does a little happy dance that Dayana is now gone.  Teresa gets the feeling that she is Lisa’s next target.  She says in her interview, “bring it on!”

Editor in chief of Elle Magazine and Farouk Shami are the execs that will be helping on this task .  Chi Touch hair dryer is the product and the task is to create a 4 page print campaign to promote the hairdryer.  Teresa steps up to be the project manager for her team with Arsenio and Aubrey.  And Lisa is PM for her team with Clay.  The execs meet with the team and Farouk is heavily flirting with Aubrey.  It was quite humorous to watch.

Aubrey makes a suggestion to make it yoga / zen type themed for the print ad.  “Be at peace with your hair” is the tagline she came up with.  Teresa of course goes with it because she doesn’t have any ideas of her own.  Lisa’s idea for the hairdryer is that there is a lot more to it than what’s on the outside – it has the touch screen but it’s also light weight and very quiet.  Who else is judged like that?  Women.  Clay thinks it’s too abstract and complex of a subject.

So the teams have headshots of different models and they have to negotiate with each other what models they want.  Aubrey tells Teresa to take the redhead and the guy.  As Teresa’s leaving the room Aubrey says, “Whatever you do, don’t let them get what we want.”  Why do I think this is some foreshadowing? I can just see Teresa bombing this.  Teresa and Lisa meet up… Teresa immediately shows Lisa the pictures of all of the models that she wants.  Lisa says “okay, we have three of the same models.”  Teresa says, “Well we have to have the redhead.”   OMG Teresa!!  You can’t negotiate worth beans!  She would be horrible at poker.  So because she wants it SO BAD, Lisa… who doesn’t even care who she gets… is now fighting for the redhead.  Lisa tells her, “okay, if you take her, then I get to take these two.”  Teresa has to go check with Aubrey for advice.  Lisa is completely running the show and steamrolling Teresa.  Teresa ends up with the redhead that she wanted, but had to take an additional guy… one that has a crew cut.  Arsenio and Aubrey are completely ticked off.

Eric Trump walks in to Teresa’s group and Teresa can’t even explain what their concept is.  Aubrey has to step in and fill in the blanks that Teresa left to better explain what their idea was.

At the photo shoot, Aubrey asked Teresa if she wants her to just be in the photo shoot because the girl that they picked out that was a redhead now has blonde hair.  Teresa says sure!  So Teresa tells the model to go home and the model gets very angry, “you should have told me before I got here!” she says.  Teresa and Aubrey find it funny.   Meanwhile the people running around the shoot don’t even know who the project manager is and they’re getting frustrated.  Arsenio and Aubrey are clearly running everything.

Clay seems to be running the whole photo shoot by himself.  Meanwhile Lisa isn’t doing much of anything aside from eating lunch.  Don Jr walks in after Lisa explains their concept, Don says he’s concerned the concept is too complicated as well.  Hmm… not good.  But maybe if they execute it well, they can pull it off.

Teresa’s idea of running a photo shoot is saying “oh!! That looks good!  Oh!  That too!  That looks good!”  Meanwhile these girls are dressed so provocatively that I know the execs are going to hate it.  They said they are sexy, but not vulgar.  I think their model’s outfits crossed the line.

Presentation time! Teresa’s team up first.  They are wearing all red, which is a nice touch (for the Chi brand).  Teresa is reading off of cue cards for her presentation and it is ridiculously bad.  She’s reading it all word for word and yet still stuttering and not flowing at all.  Farouk is just beaming as Aubrey talks though.  Arsenio and Aubrey did a great job on their presentation, but Teresa was horrible.

Now Lisa and Clay’s turn… their ads were very wordy their presentation was just okay.  Teresa’s team had more interesting pictures, but maybe not even information.  Lisa’s ads focused more on the features and benefits of the product.

Boardroom time!  Trump asks Teresa right away about negotiating the models.  Teresa says Lisa thinks she won the negotiation.  Teresa says she played dirty.  Aubrey and Arsenio say that they were not pleased with the results that Teresa gave them about the models.  The execs didn’t feel the pictures really spoke to the individual benefits of the hairdryer.  The execs really didn’t like Teresa’s presentation either or the outfits the models were wearing.  The execs thought the outfits were dated in Lisa’s presentations and the presentation lacked passion.  Lisa’s team won! I’m not happy Lisa’s sticking around for now, but I am happy Clay is!  If anyone other than Teresa gets fired for this task, that’s just wrong.  Should be a no brainer that Teresa goes home.

Teresa and Arsenio are going toe to toe while Aubrey stays quiet.  Teresa says Arsenio didn’t do anything.  And there’s the line I’ve been waiting for all season!!! Arsenio:  “Don’t throw me under the bus because I will back it up and hit you with it.”  Love that line!!!!  Okay, Teresa Guidice is fired.  Arsenio says he feels bad because she’s a nice girl.  And Lisa says “you really need to watch that damn show of hers!  She is NOT a nice lady!”  LOL too funny!

Overall I’m happy with this final four:  Clay, Lisa, Aubrey, and Arsenio.  I think I want the final two to be Clay and Aubrey.

Now the final four are going to meet with John Rich and Marlee Matlin and two more people will be fired!  I really don’t want Lisa to go to the end.  I like the other three, but man do I want Lisa to go home!!!  Marlee and John are telling Trump about their interviews and what they liked or disliked about each contestant.  John is particularly hard on all of them.  Ugh, I still can’t stand John Rich!!  Finally the interview portion is over and two more people with be eliminated.  Lisa is fired!!!  John and Marlee said she lets her emotions get the better of her.  To be continued!!! Okay… now Arsenio needs to be fired.  Clay and Aubrey are by far the strongest players.  Can’t believe I have to wait till next week!!

Real Housewives of OC: “Bombs Away” Season 7, Episode 12

For some reason I am super excited to see Gretchen’s pussycat doll performance on tonight’s episode.  I don’t know if it’s because I think she’s going to bomb and that will be entertaining or if it’s because I actually want her to do a good job.

She’s about to go out on stage!  I have butterflies for her!  She has to introduce the Pussycat Dolls and perform.  She did a great job announcing them.  She got the crowd pumped. She has to run backstage and change her outfit.  They show the housewives in the audience with their dates and the guys are just loving the Pussycat Dolls shaking their booties.  Alexis says Jim isn’t enjoying it, he just being a supportive husband… camera pans to him with a giant grin on his face.  OMG…. Slade just said “I am actually very very worried about Gretchen’s performance because I have worked so hard…”  Seriously?  He’s worked hard?  Has he ever worked hard at anything?  I’ve always been a Slade supporter, but this season really showcases how much he freeloads off of Gretchen and he just wants her to be successful so that she’s bringing in more money.  He thinks somehow it makes him look better if she’s doing well.

Gretchen begins singing… ouch…. wow… it’s way worse than I even thought it would be.  I think Slade even cringed.  Vicki’s jaw dropped.  Oh, not so good.  I really wanted her to be better!  It was actually painful to watch.  Heather is extremely supportive, telling her she did a great job.  Even Vicki told her she sounded good.

It’s Gretchen’s birthday and Tamra gives her a framed picture of the two of them from the mud run.  Vicki immediately gets jealous.  Then Vicki surprises Gretchen with a gift and tells her she’s sorry and she’s happy for her.  Gretchen gets emotional over it and wasn’t expecting it.  Then Vicki says, “I said I’m sorry, now you can say you’re sorry any minute now…”  that really put a damper on the mood.  Gretchen doesn’t apologize (I’m sure partly out of principle just because Vicki is trying to force it out of her).

Next morning, Tamra, Vicki, and Heather are playing blackjack.  Heather says how great she thought Gretchen was and Tamra tells Vicki how big of her she thought it was that she apologized to Gretchen.  Meanwhile Slade and Gretchen are having breakfast in their fabulous suite upstairs.  During their conversation, Slade says he’s never worked.  When you do what you love for a living you’re not working.  He says.  Hmmm.

Alexis sees a talent coach to help her with her live television gig.  They take a look at the first 7 seconds of her video clip of the segment she did about teens and sex.  The coach says people make up their minds about you in the first 7 seconds of seeing you.  Immediately she critiques the outfit she is wearing.  She says to Alexis that it’s good for her personal time, but not something she should be wearing on the air when you’re talking about kids and sex.  They run through a couple exercises and roll playing.  The coach critiques her hard, but she’s taking it fairly well. I still really don’t think she’s cut out for that kind of job though.  She’s just not good at thinking on her toes.

Gretchen, Slade, Heather, and Terry go out for dinner.  They discuss Gretchen’s future and what opportunities has come along.  They discuss Vicki’s apology and Gretchen is still a little not happy about her wanting an apology back.  Heather is very neutral yet supportive.  Terry is loving Slade and says he doesn’t get why everyone thinks he’s a douchebag.

Tamra’s son, Ryan, finally has his own apartment, “man pad” as Tamra says.  Ryan is doing a lot better now that Tamra and Simon have split.  Simon was a wedge in their relationship.  I think Tamra enjoys being a mother to him again and getting him set up in his place.  So she takes him furniture shopping.  Tamra wants to lend him money to buy a $1500 couch and Eddie tells her that he doesn’t need “high end” furniture.  That made me laugh!  These people live in the O.C. and they think a $1500 couch is high end?  So Ryan buys a $699 couch and Tamra agrees to buy some coffee tables for him.

Vicki has dinner with Briana and her boyfriend, Ryan.  Briana drops the BOMB on her mom, Vicki, that they got married at in Las Vegas!!!  Vicki is sooooo not happy.  Briana said that even though they are legally married, they still want to have a big wedding with family.  Vicki is beside herself with anger and hurt.  They just impulsively got married at a drive thru chapel in Vegas.  She thinks her daughter deserves better than that.  As a mother, I can see why Vicki feels that way, however, I’m more on Briana’s side on this one.  She knew her mother would completely stand in her way and she wanted to do it.  She’s old enough, mature enough, and she should be able to make her own decisions.  But if my daughter got married without me knowing, I would be hurt too.  So I see both sides.  What are your thoughts?
