WWHL: Brandi Glanville throws wine at Jeff Lewis after STD joke

Brandi Jeff Lewis WWHL

Andy Cohen knew he had a recipe for disaster (or maybe just good TV) when he booked Jeff Lewis (from Flipping Out) and Brandi Glanville (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills & this season of Celebrity Apprentice) at the same time on his show Watch What Happens Live.  Neither guest has a filter and usually not afraid to make a smart remark.  Jeff’s remarks are typically at the expense of others, whereas Brandi is typically just highly inappropriate.

Andy asked Brandi if she wanted to give Jeff’s hair a tug to see if he’s wearing a toupee, much like how Andy recently grabbed Kenya Moore’s hair to see if it was a weave.  Brandi quickly debates if she wants to touch it or not, Jeff warns her he has a lot of product in his hair, and then says “I can’t get a STD from you just touching it, can I?” Continue reading

The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2 Premiere Recap

Challenge Battle of Exes 2 Cast

MTV’s The Challenge new season premiered last night. This season’s theme is the second installment of Battle of the Exes taking place in Panama.  TJ Lavin is the host again…. he’s looking a little rough.  Did he have another accident I didn’t hear about?  He’s got one eye that’s not opening all the way.  Hmm… if anyone has an answer to this, please comment below!

The veteran cast members come out.  These are all faces we have seen many times before… Johnny Bananas, Leroy, Sarah, Wes, etc.  But then TJ announces that they will be bringing out some rookies…. NINE of them.  Johnny said, “it’s as if the Scooby Doo van pulled up and each one of them is goofier looking than the last.”  Ha!!

TJ then announces that they will be paired with a former boyfriend/girlfriend, flame, secret hook up for the entire season… welcome to Battle of the Exes 2.  Everyone rolls their eyes and do NOT look happy.  The camera keeps panning to CT and Diem and my heart just breaks.  I still can’t believe Diem passed away just two months ago.  It’s still heartbreaking to me.  Knight is also there who passed away just weeks after Diem.  It’s hard seeing people on the show that are no longer with us.  They’re just too young to die, it’s very tragic.

Jemmye says “the thing is, half these girls don’t even know who their partner is going to be because they’ve hooked up with half the cast!”  Truer words were never spoken!  So here are the teams:

Zach and JonnaJonna and Zach

Jordan and SarahSarah and Jordan

Johnny Bananas and NanyNany and secret fling with Johnny Bananas (off the show)

Wes and TheresaTheresa and Wes

Johnny and AvereyAverey and Johnny

Leroy and NiaNia and Leroy (“alleged” fling)

Brittany and AdamBrittany and Adam (from the show “Are you the one?”   Never heard of it)

Dustin and JessicaJessica and Dustin

Jay and JennaJenna and Jay (from the last Real World, I think??)

Knight and JemmyeJemmye and Knight (R.I.P.)

Thomas and HaileyHailey and Thomas (old high school sweethearts… both seem very annoying)

JJ and SimoneSimone and John “J.J.” (from “Are You the One?”)

CT and DiemC.T. and Diem (R.I.P) …. so sweet… so tragic. Sigh…

The cast goes into the mansion and begins to figure out where everyone is going to sleep, who’s in whose room… you know the drill.  Dustin’s strategy to room with the guys.  The partying begins and the conversations and drama starts.  Diem warns Averey she needs to get on the same page as Johnny and work through their problems or they won’t be lasting long.  Problems that happened in their relationship will come out in the game and get in the way, she warns from experience from doing Battle of the Exes 1.

Wes heard rumors that Jay and Jessica have hooked up and starts questioning him about it.  He kind of dances around it and doesn’t give a straight answer.  Meanwhile Dustin starts bugging Jessica about it and teasing her about it and irritating her.

The cast gets a text from TJ that the next challenge will begin at 5:30am and has something to dealing with heights.  Diem talks to CT about what that might entail.  In her interview, she says that she knows people are tired of hearing her talk about cancer, she’s tired of having cancer, but if she won the money she would use it to get a surrogate and start having babies.  She’s ready to live her life.  I’m doing everything I can not to cry watching this.  So unfair.  😦  CT really wants to win the challenge for her.

5:30 am the cast flies to Panama City and they’ve guessed it…. they will be going from one tall building to the next on a tight rope that is 500 feet in the air.  The girls will be walking across the tightrope as the guys are in a superman position overhead holding on to a rope that the women hold on to  as they go across.

Dustin and Jessica, Johnny and Averey are the first couples to go across.  Jessica really struggles as Averey does really well and goes quite quickly.  Jessica loses her footing and falls…. they are disqualified.  Averey makes it to the end and with what seems pretty good time.  Next up Zach and Jonna, Theresa and Wes…. Theresa keeps falling off but Wes isn’t letting go and it actually works to their advantage, she’s falling in the right direction.  Jonna is just a mess wobbling all over the place and panicking and eventually falls off.  Zach is flustered.  Theresa makes it to the finish line, and then falls, but she made it to the end first.  Leroy and Nia, Jay and Jenna…. Leroy and Nia are stuck at the beginning… Jenna and Jay make it pretty far, but she ends up falling and Jay is very encouraging telling her she did great.  Leroy and Nia got to start again because they had technical difficulties.  Nia makes it part of the way, but ends up falling.  Next is Adam and Brittany, Nany and Johnny Bananas… Brittany falls pretty quickly and blames it on her trust issues with Adam.  Nany gets almost to the finish mark and then falls.  Next is Jemmye and Knight and John and Simone…. Knight looks like he’s on drugs, I would not trust him with my rope.  Jemmye and Knight ended up screaming at each other.  Jemmye falls and Knight yells at her to stop bitching.  John and Simone got far and worked well together, but she ended up falling as well.  Diem and CT, Sarah and Jordan… Sarah’s shoe ended up falling off.   Sarah gets almost all to the end but then fell, but Diem made it to the end!!  She and CT were so cute!  Next Hailey and Thomas are the last couple to go and not going with anyone else.  They did great and made it to the end.

Last place couple is Adam and Brittany who are going into the dome.  The power couple with the best time was Wes and Theresa they get to decide what team goes into the dome to face Adam and Brittany.  Wes tells Theresa he’d like to vote in Johnny Bananas, Theresa says she’ll go with what he decides but thinks maybe Dustin and Jessica are a better option.  Wes tells Jay and Adam he’s not going to throw them in and he wants to be a “silent partner” with the rookies.  He wants to throw a veteran in.  Wes tells Dustin and Jessica he’s thinking about the Bananas route but it depends on how his conversation goes with him.  He warns Dustin that they are a possibility and Dustin is not happy… he thinks it should be rookie against rookie.  Dustin tells Jessica that because of his gay porn website past, he doesn’t feel he will ever fit in with “The Challenge” family.  He says his past is always going to haunt him.

So Wes sits down with Bananas and Bananas tries to tell him that it’s too early in the game to make that kind of move.  Bananas gets mad and ends up kind of storming out.  Wes said he loves to make Bananas squirm.

Decision time…. TJ comes out and calls Adam and Brittany up and asks Wes and Theresa who they’re putting up.  Wes says no matter who they put up it’s going to ruffle some feathers.  He then says he has decided on Dustin and Jessica.  Dustin and Jessica then go to talk and they show their support for each other and grow closer as a team.  Adam tries to rile up Brittany and tells her to take out her anger she has for him on Jessica.

The Dome: TJ explains the challenge: The teams will be facing each other with their hands and legs strapped to poles that they have to try to climb a ladder with (sorry not explaining this well).  First couple to the top and rings the bell wins and stays another week.  Dustin and Jessica immediately fall as soon as the challenge begins.  The teams are neck and neck once they get going.  Then Jessica and Dustin completely fall all the way to the ground.  They have to begin all over again.  Adam and Brittany just have to go slow and steady and they can win.  Adam tells Brittany he loves her as they’re going up.  They ring the bell and win…. Dustin and Jessica go home.  Dustin’s devastated he went home on the first challenge.

The next morning Dustin and Jessica receive a message from TJ saying they’re not really out yet… they have been ex-iled.  They will compete against the other ex-iled contestants for a chance to get back in the game.  Even though this has been done before on Survivor, I am excited for this twist.  It adds a whole different element and interesting factor to the game.

This season is dedicated to Diem and Knight.  ❤

Celebrity Apprentice: Season 14, Ep 2 Part 2 RECAP

Celeb Apprentice Group

Last night’s (Monday night) episode of Celebrity Apprentice was a two-parter. Click here to read the recap of the first part of the episode.

Trump addresses the cast the next morning with execs from Luvo and are told the task is creating a bistro and have tasting of the Luvo products.  They will be judged on brand messaging and overall presentation.  Vivica steps up to be project manager of the women and Terrell (T.O.) will be the men’s project manager.

The women immediately begin working on the slogan.  “Love yourself, one bite at a time.” Is the slogan they landed on.  Their overall idea is that the women will represent different types of women: athlete, pageant girl, etc that will want to be taking care of their bodies.  Vivica says she’s going to dress like a man and be Jamie Anderson’s trainer.   Leeza is doing something with Kenya, the former Miss U.S.A.

On the men’s team, Geraldo keeps interjecting his ideas and T.O. isn’t as opinionated and taking a bit of a backseat.  T.O. says he’s giving Geraldo a bit of creative freedom because he’s been around the block a few times.

Shawn JohnsonShawn Johnson tells Vivica that she “has no brain” right now.  She calls it her “moon cycle”.  Basically she’s on her period and in a lot of pain.  I can sympathize, some women really have it rough, but Vivica has no tolerance for that.  She is not happy that Shawn is using that as an excuse.  Shawn explains she usually doesn’t get out of bed and Vivica rolls her eyes.

The men arrive at the test kitchen and start testing all of the food.  Geraldo immediately says he wants a Latino dish in there.  T.O. decides that Gilbert should be in charge of entertainment piece of the presentation.  T.O. asked each of the men to write a script to go with the dish they were presenting.  Gilbert is just having fun and at one point asks T.O. to show him “the black handshake hug thing.”  Luckily T.O. finds this hilarious.

Kate and Shawn were sent out to get props and things taking their sweet time.  This really aggravated Vivica as she felt they were really eating up a lot of time.

The men decide to rehearse their lines before the presentation but Gilbert just wants to wing it and improvise.  Lorenzo doesn’t love the slogan they have and feels it’s Geraldo’s fault for coming up with it but also T.O’s because he’s project manager and signed off on it.

The women are all scattered because Kate and Shawn took 6 hours to shop and they didn’t have an opportunity to rehearse.

luvo presentationPresentation time: The men had a nice flow to their serving and presentation…. until Gilbert starts talking.  His jokes are inappropriate and completely bombing.  The execs were not laughing.  If they lose because of Gilbert, Ian feels T.O. needs to go home for allowing him to do that.

The women’s presentation…. Brandi and Leeza are dressed as flight attendants (Luvo’s food is served on Delta airlines).  There was a huge delay of the entrees coming out one after the next.  Definitely doesn’t have the flow the men had.  However, they had a better slogan and more energy to their presentation overall than the men had.

Boardroom: Trump asks Vivica if she would trade one of her teammates for Geraldo and she said yes.  She would trade Shawn Johnson for Geraldo.  Vivica explains to Trump that Shawn was on her period and checked out.  Jamie then calls out Kenya as rude and difficult to work with.

The execs felt the women missed the mark on presenting the products and describing the nutrition facts and details about the food.   On the men’s team they didn’t care for their slogan and felt Gilbert’s jokes were not family friendly.  Ultimately, the women won.  Back in the suite, Shawn stands up for herself to Vivica and says “How dare you say the reason I wasn’t feeling well.  It didn’t hurt my feelings, it was trashy!”

Terrell boardroomT.O. feels like Gilbert lost the task for the men.  Gilbert defends himself saying that he cares about being funny and getting a laugh at all costs.  Ivanka points out that the slogan was the biggest miss and Geraldo and T.O. were responsible for that.  Terrell decides to bring back Geraldo and Gilbert back into the boardroom.

Trump decides to fire Gilbert because they lost because he was inappropriate, or at least that was part of the reason.  It’s kind of silly the way Trump fires him.  He tried to get Gilbert to say he wanted to go home, but Gilbert wouldn’t flat out say that.

Celebrity Apprentice: Season 14, Ep 2 Part 1 RECAP

celebrity-apprentice-2015 group shot

If you were anything like me last night, you opted to watch The Bachelor premiere instead of watching the second episode (this week’s “bonus” episode, if you will) of Celebrity Apprentice.  So now, I am sitting down to finally watch it and to recap it for you all.  Judging from the episode’s title “Nobody Out Thinks Donald Trump”, I’m thinking we’re in for a good episode!

The women join the men’s team back in the suite and Geraldo questions Brandi if she really thought Kate was lazy on the last task. She says during parts of the task, yes Kate Gosselin didn’t do anything.  Geraldo says some people will say anything to get a leg up in the competition.  Kate and Jamie Anderson enter the room and the rest of the cast realize that means Keshia Knight Pulliam, the task project manager, has been fired.  Kate comes in crying and says it was a lot harder than she thought it would be.  She confides in Shawn Johnson saying, “can you believe Brandi called me lazy, that’s the first time I’ve ever had someone describe me as that.”  Brandi says in her interview she just doesn’t know how Kate makes money when she’s not on TV yelling at her kids, she’s just not a business woman, Brandi says.  Like Brandi is so business savvy and professional… for sure.

It’s the next morning and Trump greets the teams and tells them they are going to be working with the company Neat.  Their task is to create a commercial demonstrating the Neat cloud server and the Neat wireless scanner.  Kevin Jonas steps up as project manager of Vortex and Kate, through process of elimination, was voted project manager of Infinity.  Kevin gets right to it saying he’s going to create a timeline schedule so that everyone knows what they’re supposed to be doing at all times. He begins bouncing ideas off of Ian and Lorenzo.  Kevin calls the other van which has Geraldo in it and Geraldo immediately keeps saying this phrase “Neat. Sweet.” over and over and wants Kevin to get on board with this.  Kevin is frustrated with Geraldo and says that that has nothing to do with brand.

The women all sit down at the studio together and it’s clear that Kate doesn’t have a clue when it comes to technology.  The men sit down with the executives and Geraldo completely begins to undermine Kevin.  He’s talking on the phone very loudly while Kevin is trying to get information from the Neat execs.

leeza-gibbons-and-brandi-glanvilleKate’s listening to Shawn’s ideas and others, but just not getting it.  She’s having a hard time picking a theme and going with it.  Ultimately they went with Shawn’s idea which is a disheveled woman gets Neat in her life and suddenly everything is organized. Kate is completely absent… eating, drinking, etc, while Brandi and Leeza are doing everything.

Kevin and GeraldoKevin gives the men specific direction on what they will be doing.  Gilbert will be the actor, Geraldo will write the script, Lorenzo the director, a few of the men went to go get props, everything seemed very organized.  The women on the other hand…. Brandi and Kate are putting heads as Brandi keeps stressing and Kate’s not stressing enough.  But back at Vortex Geraldo is really getting upset with all the guys.  Geraldo’s ego is just out of control.  He’s really disrespecting everyone.  It’s almost hard to watch.  The men got Mike Rowe to do the voice over in the commercial and that’s a thorn in Geraldo’s side.  He’s very jealous.

Commercials are done and the women present the commercial to the Neat execs and Trump’s advisers. The women go first and their commercial looks decent.  The execs smile and look pleased.  The men, however, showed more of the features and uses for the products.  Because of that, I think the men have won.  The execs were smiling and nodding their heads.

Boardroom time: The men are confident that they have won.  Geraldo was very complimentary towards Kevin.  Kate on the other hand isn’t as confident and calls Brandi out as being a distraction. The execs had pros and cons with both teams but ultimately the WOMEN won!  The execs didn’t like that the men didn’t show more of the Neat Cloud features and logo.

Kevin Jonas boardroomKevin points out to Trump that he kept trying to revise the script to add more about the cloud and Geraldo kept putting up road blocks and was distracting.  Trump tells  Kevin he needs to bring back two people and he chooses Ian and Geraldo.  He picked Ian as a way to gang up on Kevin.  The women are shouting at Kevin “don’t do that!!”  and given the title of this episode I would have to agree!  This isn’t going to end the way Kevin wants it to… I can just feel that.

As predicted, Trump attacks Kevin for bringing Ian back.  Almost fires Ian for not putting up more of a stink about being brought back in the boardroom, and doesn’t fully listen to either Kevin or Ian as to their reasons for wanting Geraldo fired.  I’m not even the faintest Jonas Bros fan, but I do feel Kevin was robbed in this situation.  Geraldo is an egomaniac that I hope doesn’t stick around much longer in this competition.  It should be noted that Ian did a mighty fine job in the boardroom keeping his composure and staying loyal to Kevin.  Even with the vein in the side of his head bulging as his blood pressure was going up, he was looking damn fine.  He seems like an upstanding gentleman.

The Bachelor: Chris Soules “Prince Farming” Premiere RECAP

Chris Soules

Even for a Bachelor fan such as myself, THREE HOURS for a premiere is a bit much.  Chris Harrison is live from the Red Carpet of the premiere with dozens of screaming girls around him.  I don’t mind them changing it up a bit, but I find the red carpet a bit annoying.

Chris Soules gives us some background on himself and his 6,000 acre farm in Iowa.  As he speaks, he’s so monotone!  I sure hope this changes up as it goes on or I’m going to fall asleep.  I love Chris, he’s a great, nice, handsome man, but he’s coming across very dull.  Put some feeling into your words, man!  Cody makes an appearance training Chris, getting him buffed up to be the next Bachelor.  (If you’re wondering if Cody and Michelle Money are still together, here’s the scoop )

Wait, what?!  There’s a countdown clock… 58 minutes to the first limo arriving.  What?!  What are we doing for the next hour?!  Omg I can’t take a whole hour of this red carpet nonsense.

Sean Lowe and Catherine talk to Chris Harrison… blah blah blah.  Love them, happy for them, let’s move on.

(48 minutes till first limo)

Marcus and Lacy, who fell in love on Bachelor in Paradise, join Chris Harrison to be interviewed… still engaged, planning the wedding.

(42 minutes left)

BrittA look at the Bachelorettes vying for Chris Soules heart.  Britt, 27, waitress in L.A.,  reveals it’s been three years since her last relationship.  During that relationship they didn’t have sex at all.  She said it was an interesting thing, she knew exactly how she felt about him without sex being involved.

JillianJillian, 25, National News Producer  in D.C.  She lifts heavy weights in the gym, very competitive.

AmandaAmanda, ballet instructor, 24, Illinois.  Very perky.  Lives at home with her mom because she doesn’t like to pay bills, cook, or clean, so her mom does all of that.

WhitneyWhitney, 29, fertility nurse, Chicago, IL, has a really high pitch, annoying voice.  Sorry Whitney, you can’t help it girl, but it’s a bit much.

MackenzieMakenzie, 21, Dental Assistant, and has a very little boy.  She is far too young for Chris!

AlissaAlissa, 24, New Jersey, Flight Attendant.  Very positive, but maybe a little too bubbly.  Seems a bit immature.

KelseyKelsey, 28, Austin, TX, school counselor, became a widow about a year and a half ago when her husband just dropped dead one day.  She seems quite mature.  Her late husband was 42 years old, so she’s used to older men.  Oh and she’s also from West Michigan originally which is where I am from, so I’m naturally rooting for her (for now at least).

Back at the red carpet, Andi and Josh get interviewed by Chris Harrison.  They don’t have a wedding date yet, but nice to see they’re still together.

(20 minutes till limo)

Chris H is now interviewing Nikki Ferrel who “won” Juan Pablo’s heart, sorta.  Nikki says they both tried really hard, but they’re just two different people and it wasn’t working out… different priorities, different lifestyles.  She’s very nervous and keeps saying “I mean, like… I mean, you know…”  She felt like she was never his first or even his seventh priority.  She seems genuinely happy and not like the pouty girl on Couples Therapy that was constantly sad at Juan Pablo all the time.  Chris just keeps digging at her to say something bad about him, and kudos to her for trying to rise above and not trash talk him.  Nice try though, Chris.

Now in the studio, still live, we’re FINALLY going to get the real premiere going!

More behind the scenes with Chris and him getting ready to be The Bachelor.  New clothes, getting groomed, photo shoot, etc.  Still monotone, but the shower scene ain’t bad.

Enter, first limo!!!

Britt is the first one out of the limo wearing a black and silvery dress.  She hugs him for a long time and begins to cry.  “I’m so happy it’s you!” She gives him a little note and tells him he has to come find her and she’ll explain what it means.  The note says “Free Hug from Britt.”  Seems pretty self explanatory to me!

Whitney is the next one out and very giggly, she tells him she wouldn’t be there if it weren’t him that was there.

Kelsey is the next wearing a beautifully blue dress.

Megan, make-up artist from Nashville, TN.  Chris says as she walks away “this is not going to be easy.”

Ashley, drop dead GORGEOUS comes out, Chris seems extra smitten with her.  She tells him “I’m not going to tell you see you later, I’m going to say I’ll TALK to you later!”

ReeganReegan, 28, donated tissue specialist, comes out carrying a cooler.  She explains to him that she sells human tissue and opens up the cooler and there’s a HEART in there.  But she says it’s not real.

TaraTara comes out wearing a flannel shirt, shorts, and cowboy boots.  She said “this is me.”   The girls FLIP out when she walks in.  Their jaws just drop.  Tara tells in her interview she felt out of place.  You think?!  So then she changes into a dress and makes her way to the front again to sneak up on Chris and come out again.  She even sneaks in the limo!  Just strange.

The limo driver hands Chris a note, he nods and says “hmm… okay…”  and then it cuts to commercial!  “Chris, please turn away from the limo and close your eyes.” So with his eyes closed, out walks Amanda who sneaks up behind him and says that since he was Andi’s secret admirer last season, he deserves to have one too.  So she sneaks away inside without him ever seeing her.

Jillian shows off her muscles to Chris.  Not sure that’s going to win him over.

Ashley SAshley S comes out and she has a crazy look in her eyes.  She doesn’t blink or something.  It’s very strange.  She puts a lucky penny in the sole of his shoes.

KaitlynKaitlyn walks out and says “I know your name is Chris, and you’re a farmer.  And I uhh… you can plow the fuck out of my field any day.”  Chris just stands there in complete silence with a smile on his face like “whaaaaat?”  She’s a little spitfire for sure.  As she walks away he says “didn’t see that coming!”

There’s only 15 girls there at this point and Chris is under the impression that’s all that’s coming.  Little does he know, there’s still 15 more coming.  So Kaitlyn breaks the ice by telling a joke, “Why did the Walrus go to a Tupperware party?” punchline “Because he wanted to find a tight seal.”  Girls’ jaws just drop.  Hahaha… loving this season!!

Britt gets to speak to Chris first and explains the “Free Hugs” note…. she said that a wife, a girlfriend, is a safe haven.  Someone that you can come to at the end of the day and will give you a hug and makes you feel safe.  Chris is really drawn to her, you can tell.  They had an amazing spark!  I think Britt is for sure a front runner and I like her too.

Chris H comes out with the first impression rose.  The girls begin freaking out because they also think there’s only 15 women there.

Amanda admits that she is the secret admirer and her eyes are totally bugging out.  Best live tweet ever comes from ABC Exec Robert Mills @millsy11374

Totally cracks me up!

Back to the show… Chris H just walked in, he’s stealing Chris S for a minute, they walk outside…. he tells him there’s another limo pulling up right now!  Girls go into freak out mode again.

The claws come out as the second round of girls come out of the limos.  The first set of girls are just cranky!

Alissa walks up with a seatbelt from an airplane and tells him it’s going to be a bumpy ride and she puts the seatbelt around him.

The second round of girls have more props and gimmicks and the first round of girls are being very judgy and catty about it.

CarlyCarly comes out singing with a cheesy karaoke machine.  It’s pretty terrible!

Chris is getting completely overwhelmed as the final ladies come out.

He now enters the house where a total of 30 women are standing, giggling, and flipping their hair.

Kaitlyn tried to teach Chris how to break dance.  He says he’s really impressed by her and that she’s down to earth.

Now all the women are cutting in and trying to get their time with Chris.

Haha…. Chris just said that all of these women would make incredible wives, he wishes he was a polygamist!  Too funny!

Crazy Ashley S goes on this tangent about how people are onions and you have to peal back the layers.  Then she tries to cut in with Chris and another girl and she offers the other girl a yellow rose.  It’s this whole awkward exchange and Chris is smiling politely but he is looking at her like she’s a big crazy ball.  Chris is having a hard time even talking to her.  She obviously drunk or on drugs or both.  But it is just crazy.

Can’t wait for these women to get weeded out.  There are a lot of not-so-bright girls here.  I can sense a few diamonds in the rough, but wow, a majority of them are crazy.

Chris truly is smitten with Britt and he gives her the first impression rose and he kissed her already!  She walks in the room with him arm and arm with the first impression rose and the ladies are just shooting daggers at her.  Jealous!!

Whoa!! Michelle Money just said that she heard a rumor that Britt doesn’t shower!!  Michelle! I love you girl, but you don’t throw things like that out there!

Rose ceremony time!!  Chris is stressing…

Roses go to:

Kaitlyn (surprised she got the first ceremony rose), Jade (one of my favorites so far), Samantha, Ashley I, Tandra, Nikki, Kelsey, Megan…. as he’s handing out roses Tara just can’t keep her composure.  She’s breathing heavy, sweating, tearing up, completely freaking out.  Roses continue…. Alissa, Amber, Juelia, Becca, Trina, (Tara continuing to be a sloppy drunk who’s stumbling and freaking out)… Chris shakes his head and walks out of the room.  Cut to commercial!  UGH!

Chris tells Chris H he was going to pick Tara, but she’s sloppy drunk and now he doesn’t know.  Roses continue again… Makenzie, Tracy, and then he finally picks Tara and puts her out of her misery.  He was afraid he would make a mistake by eliminating her.  Jordan gets the next one and stumbles on the rug (also drunk), Jillian, Whitney, Carly, final rose goes to…. Ashely S….. whaaaat?!!!  I thought for SURE she’d be sent home!!!  He really does like the drunk girls!

Oh! Thought it was over, but Kimberly walks back in and asks Chris if she can speak with him!  And why is it so light outside if it was so dark while the limos were pulling up?  Is it like 6am or something?  What kind of Hollywood trickery is this?!  We’ll find out what happens with Kimberly next week!

Celebrity Apprentice: Season 14 premiere RECAP

celebrity-apprentice-2015 group shot

I am a HUGE fan of Celebrity Apprentice even though I realize it’s god awful, the term “celebrity” is used very loosely, and I cannot stand Donald Trump in the real world.  However, I do love reality TV drama and Celebrity Apprentice is always sure to be full of that!

Tonight was the premiere of the 14th season of The Apprentice.  The opening sequence shows the previous six winners and I got the chills when they showed Joan Rivers.  Bless her heart… loved that lady!

But let’s get down to business with this season.  The teams are divided up male/female.  Click here for full cast and bios of 2015 Celebrity Apprentice .  Trump describes the first challenge which is a restaurant business, Pie Face…. making and selling celebrity pies.  Team who raised the most money wins and the project manager will win the money for his/her charity.  The Cake Boss will be selecting which pie he likes best and Trump explains the winner will be given a VERY big bonus added on to the team’s dollars.

The teams go  back to Trump Tower to discuss who will be the project manager and what their team name will be.  Kenya Moore and Brandi Glanville immediately begin arguing over the team name.  Kenya suggested Team Infinity and Jamie Anderson jumped on it as well and said it could mean infinite possibilities. But Brandi liked Team Gold because there are two Olympic Gold Medalists on the team.  Shawn Johnson agreed that in everything in life you shoot for Gold, you don’t want to be Silver.  Kenya and Brandi have a history of bad blood from the Real Housewives franchises.  The rest of the women agree though that Team Infinity is the right choice.

Geraldo Rivera Meanwhile on the men’s team Geraldo suggests the name Vortex… “it’s a storm, it’s powerful.” Ian suggests they write down the suggestions and kind of cringes at the name “Vortex.”  Another teammate suggests Velocity. Geraldo argues that Velocity is three syllables and therefore not as good as Vortex. So Lorenzo says “Why don’t we just call this Team Geraldo” and acts very put off.  Kevin Jonas argues that it doesn’t have enough to do with business but Geraldo just steamrolled it and the guys threw their hands up and went with it.

Keshia Knight Pulliam The women choose Keshia Knight Pulliam as their project manager.  Then the ladies immediately get to work planning the execution of their restaurant.  Piers Morgan came in and gave Keshia and the ladies some advice.  The men chose the obvious pick of Geraldo as their project manager.   Ivanka paid them a visit and comments that they seem very harmonious.   Ivanka gushed a bit over Ian and says she was a huge Beverly Hills 90210 fan.  Kevin Jonas is confident (possibly over confident) that his fans will show up to support him.  I don’t doubt they will show up, I doubt that they have as much money as those with celebrity connections would have.

The men arrive to Pie Face and Kevin Jonas is very anxious to get the ball rolling and start making pies.  Meanwhile Geraldo wants a meeting to hammer home the point of using social media to get their contacts down there.  Kevin is losing patience rapidly for Geraldo.

The women came up with a pear and blueberry pie.  Keshia suggests an enchilada-taco pie after much discussion on whether or not it should be called enchilada or taco.  Kevin picked “Ice Box Cake” which is a pudding based pie.  And Lorenzo did a chicken pot pie for their savory pie. The men burned about 600 pie crusts and they have no choice but to toss them out.

Anyone else cringing right now as Keshia is talking about the great Bill Cosby and his philanthropy?  Ugh.  Cringe.

It’s the next morning, and the women are in the van on the way to the restaurant and Kenya is appalled at Keshia for not calling Bill Cosby up for a donation.  She said she wanted to call others (like Tyler Perry) who she knows is in New York City and accessible.

Geraldo was very dismissive of Gilbert and at one point told him to go supervise the balloons.  Geraldo was really not involved in the operations of the task.  He spent most of the time on the phone.   The women are not liking Keshia’s micromanaging style and are starting to get irritated.

The restaurants open up and the men are raking in the checks.  Geraldo was standing in the center of the restaurant shouting “let’s keep it moving!  C’mon!  Let’s go! Let’s go!” which really irritated Kevin.  On the women’s team, Keshia started cashiering which irritated Vivica who was supposed to be the cashier.  But then the large checks started coming in and the women got excited again.  Kate was just greeting people at the door and Brandi didn’t feel that was hustling enough.  However, the men had entertainment going on outside which drew in more people off the streets.

Kenya Brandi Pie FaceClaudia Jordan (who was previously on Celebrity Apprentice) agreed to come by for Kenya Moore but said if she was going to donate a lot of money she would need to throw a pie in her (Kenya’s) face.  So Brandi got the whipped cream out to fill a pie pan with, but Kenya snuck up and got Brandi instead.  Brandi then go Kenya back.  However, Brandi said in the interview piece “I hate whipped cream, I don’t like to get sticky…. unless it’s with a really hot guy, then it’s okay.”   haha!

The Cake Boss arrives to Team Vortex first.  He comments that the savory pie is a bit under salted and the sweet pie has an overcooked crust. Over on Team Infinity, he tells the ladies there are maybe too many flavors in the savory pie and they were trying to do too much.  The sweet pie however, he said the ladies nailed it.

The men seem to have massive checks coming in left and right.  I would be surprised if the men lost.  The ladies don’t seem to have all that many huge checks.  Kate Gosselin is crying because her big check she was expecting to come in didn’t come in and therefore she didn’t raise any money.

Boardroom time!  Shawn expresses her concern that they did not win because she feels the men have better access to powerhouse people with deeper pockets.  Vivica disagrees with that and feels they won and that Keshia was a good project manager.  Trump asks Kenya who the weakest player is and she says Keshia was the weakest because she didn’t focus enough on the fundraising aspect.  Geraldo expresses that he feels they won because the team name Vortex is powerful and they are powerful and there is purpose there.  Geraldo began to sing Gilbert’s praises and admits he underestimated Gilbert in the beginning.

Trump asks Geraldo who should be fired if they lost.  Geraldo explains that the person who raised the least should be fired.  Kevin calls out Geraldo on not knowing exactly who raised the least amount of money.  Kevin says the project manager should go to the treasurer at the end of the task and look at what everyone raised.  I have to say that I am very impressed with Kevin and that he has guts to call Geraldo out on this in front of Trump.  I expected him to be much more intimidated by these men.

The winner of the bonus for having the best tasting pies was Team Infinity as selected by The Cake Boss.  The women received an extra $25,000 for having a great tasting pie, so there is still a slim chance that now maybe they won over the men.  Shawn still feels that they probably lost, and I agree.  The number of twitter followers Kevin Jonas has has been brought up several times.  For the record, he has 4.76 million Twitter followers (yikes!)

Team Infinity brought in a total of $93,862.  The men, Team Vortex, brought in a total of $180,322.  The men were clear winners.

Keshia calls out Kate, Shawn, and Jamie to Trump as raising the least amount money.  Kate says that Keshia should be fired because she was project manager and didn’t give very clear direction.  Brandi flat out says Kate was lazy.  Piers said it was clear to him that there wasn’t any clear direction and it was quite chaotic.  Vivica cries over how proud she was of Keshia.  Then Kenya calls Keshia out again not calling Bill Cosby to ask for a donation.  Keshia then gets emotional and says she has not talked to Bill Cosby in “I don’t know how long” and for her to call him up out of the blue asking for money, just didn’t seem right.  Ivanka points out that Keshia shouldn’t have volunteered to be Project Manager if she couldn’t pull in the big numbers.  Trump tells Keshia she need to pick two people to come back in the boardroom with her.  She picks Kate and Jamie because they raised the least amount of money.

Keshia, Kate, and Jamie face Trump, Piers, and Ivanka and Keshia is just getting raked over the coals.  Just fire her already… this is hard to watch.  Keshia gets emotional discussing her charity.  Trump tells her that he will donate $25,000 to her charity (a camp for inspiring and building up women).  Then he fires her.  Keisha Knight Pulliam is the first to be fired on this season of Celebrity Apprentice.  So sad to see her go!!

ICYMI: Michelle Money and Cody Sattler split

We watched the unlikely pair of Michelle Money and Cody Sattler fall in love during the few days they were together on “Bachelor in Paradise.”  I didn’t think they would make it a week, let alone six months together.  However, they announced their split on December 17th via social media… Cody first issued a statement on Instagram followed by Michelle on Facebook, both saying basically the same thing.  They respect each other, thankful for the time they got with each other, but they’re just going to be lifelong friends.

After 6 months of dating, Cody and I have decided that we are going to move on from our relationship. I feel very blessed and fortunate to have shared such beautiful memories with such an incredible guy. Bachelor in Paradise was more then I could have imagined. Cody truly has blessed my life and the life of my daughter in more ways than he will ever know. His positive impact on Brielle is something I will forever be grateful for.

This decision has been a very difficult one to make, to say the least. Especially with all the amazing love and support we have felt from so many fans! I personally want to thank each of you for the encouragement you have given me as a single mom trying to make the right decisions for my daughter and myself.

I am so grateful I followed my heart and that it lead me to Cody. He has made me feel so loved and so appreciated. I only wish that it could have ended up the way we had hoped. I wish nothing but happiness and love for Cody! Brielle and I look forward to a life long friendship with him and will always love and support him in all he does. Thanks to everyone, again, for all the love and support!

Michelle Money and Cody

Michelle, who I will admit was not my favorite the first time she appeared on Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor, has done a 180 on my impression of her in more recent years.  She appears to be level headed, fun, kind, not a drama seeker, and not to mention downright gorgeous.  If I can find any faults in Cody, who first appeared on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette, is that he is too nice.  He wants so desperately for someone to love him that he will do anything for them and is very passionate and loyal from the start.  This, I can imagine, could make a woman feel emotional pressure and possibly a feeling of suffocation.  That being said, Michelle and Cody are two wonderful people (from what I can tell) who demonstrated class in announcing their breakup.  I wish them both luck and my prediction is that neither will be single for long.

Happy New Year 2015!

2015 Happy New Year Strands Line Glow Dark Background

As we start the new year we all have the best of intentions on what we’re going to accomplish in 2015.  We have big goals,  “this is the year” type speeches to ourselves, and resolutions on how we’re going to somehow be a better person this year than we were last year.  I am no different than everyone else.  I have big goals for 2015 as well.  Whether they pan out or not… time will tell.  One thing that I do want to do more of is to keep this blog going with more posts.  So I am going to do my best to watch more TV and contribute more frequently to this blog.  🙂

Some shows I am looking forward to in the near future is Celebrity Apprentice (click here to see the cast) begins this Sunday, January 4; The Bachelor which starts this Monday, January 5; American Idol (we’ll see if I can make it through a season… haven’t gotten past the auditions in years) season 14 premieres this Wednesday, January 7th,  The Voice will return February 23rd, and Survivor will air February 25 with the new theme of “Worlds Apart: Blue Collar, White Collar, and No Collar” to divide the tribes up.

I shouldn’t have a loss for things to write about!  Hope you will keep reading and I will keep writing.  Happy New Year!!

Millionaire Matchmaker Recap: Larry Birkhead and Melyssa Ford (S8, Ep01)

millionaire-matchmaker-season-8

Season 8 of Millionaire Matchmaker premiered tonight.  After Destin and Rachel left the show (<— click to get the scoop on that!) I lost interest when the new staff came on board and I will admit I stopped watching halfway through season 7.  But it’s a new season and I’m willing to give it another shot.

The format starts out dramatically different with an up close interview with Melyssa Ford.  It is set up more like a documentary or the filming of a commercial for Patti Stanger’s services.  Then cut to Patti at her office with her “Director of Matchmaking” David Cruz who was the only half decent “assistant” from last season and Candace “Director of Recruiting” who is new this season.

Melyssa FordMelyssa Ford is from “Blood, Sweat, and Heels” reality show.  Melyssa said that she likes the whole crayola box. Her house was like “United Nations” she says… her mom was Russian and Norwegian and her dad is from Barbados. Patti advises Melyssa to tone down her sexuality so the guys can see past that and see who she really is.

Larry BirkheadLarry Birkhead, Anna Nicole Smith’s ex, is up next.  He’s back living in Kentucky raising his daughter DanielLynn that he had with the late Anna and claims he hasn’t had any girlfriends since Anna.  He has pictures of Anna around the house for Daniellyn.  Patti tells Larry that she once set up Anna.  Patti has a concern that Larry’s house has become a shrine of Anna.  Larry’s sister, her daughter, his nephew, and others all live in his house with him. Patti encourages Larry to let the walls come down and start putting himself out there to date.

Patti decides that Larry needs to just be set up on a blind date and not have a mixer because he won’t be able to make a decision.  With Melyssa, she brought in an old woman specialist to help convince her she needs to market her brain and not her body.

There is a new format for how Patti does her recruiting.  No more bringing people into the office, she has them in a mixer type setting so she can see how they interact.  She first takes the men aside to ask them questions and get a feel for them.  Then moves on to grill the women.  After talking with each one, Patti sits down with David and Candace to discuss who they’re going to pick for Larry and Melyssa.

Melyssa shows up to her mixer in a tight, two piece outift… leading with her body, not her mind, but oh well!  Patti leaves Melyssa alone with the guys and she’s very shy and nervous… and horribly awkward.

Candace then works with Larry on how he’s going to pick up a girl at a bar.  He’s having a hard time talking and making eye contact.  Melyssa finally gets a bit more comfortable around the guys and asking and answering questions.

Larry meets Michelle, the fitness coach, for his blind date.  She has a 12 year old son and a 9 year old daughter.  The conversation seems a bit awkward, but obviously they’re both nervous.  Larry has a lot less personality than I was expecting overall.  He seems rather dull… it’s not a surprise that he’s been single all these years.

Melyssa chose Jay to go on a date with, he greeted her with flowers, and told her he’s taking her bowling (she had said earlier she likes it).  They both seem very comfortable and having fun bowling.  Jay is very sweet, great smile.

Larry and Michelle talked and then shared a kiss over dinner.  They’re a good looking couple, just the conversation seems boring still.

Jay seems very into Melyssa and really interested in getting to know her.  Everything seems really easy with them.  He took her out on the restaurant balcony for cigars because she said that she likes smoking cigars – it reminds her of her late father.

Patti calls Jay and he says he wants to see Melyssa again and had a great time.  Melyssa tells Patti they had a great time and she also wants a second date with Jay.  Michelle tells Patti that she had a good time with Larry and they have a second date set up.  Larry came into the office and told Patti about the date and agrees his date went well and he learned some things.  The last update says that Larry and Michelle talk on the phone several times a week and are planning their second date.  Melyssa went back to New York and met an “Average Joe” and they are now an item.

I have to say Candace is a HUGE improvement to the assistants that were on last season and I love her directness.   Maybe I’ll finally be able to get over Destin and Rachel not being on the show anymore!

Real World Star Ryan Knight AKA “Knight” dead at 29

knight

** Update 11/28/14 2:50pm EST:   Autopsy results – no immediate cause of death was found.  Knight’s dad says he had been complaining of stomach pains the previous two days.  Toxicology results may be a clue, but will take several more days for the results.  No drugs were found at the friend’s house where Knight passed away, but reports say he took “some pills” the night he died along with some hard partying.  Stay tuned for more news to come.

Ryan Knight, known on MTV’s “Real World: New Orleans” and “The Challenge” as Knight, was found dead at a friend’s house Thursday morning, as reported by TMZ.

Knight was reportedly out partying Wednesday (the biggest drinking night of the year – night before Thanksgiving) and passed out at a friend’s house later in the night.  A friend found him dead in the morning.  That friend says he choked on his vomit and died.

Several witnesses are also saying he took “some pills” but specifics are unknown at this point.

Knight was quite the partyer on his season of Real World and the housemates even had an intervention at one point for him.  He had a blow up relationship with fellow housemate Jemmye.

Sad times in MTV land, this is the second “Challenge” star to die within a month.  Diem Brown passed away just a few weeks ago of cancer.
