The Bachelor’s Kelsey Poe threatening to sue ABC

Kelsey7

Kelsey Poe, the widow from the most recent season of The Bachelor with Chris Soules, is threatening to sue ABC, radaronline reports.  A source close to the situation is saying that Kelsey insists they should pay for the emotional damage that was done to her by the editing of the show.

Kelsey is currently undergoing therapy which is typically used for those with PTSD called EMDR – Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.  Kelsey believes that the show intentionally altered the plot to play off the tragedy of her late husband, Sanderson Poe, in order to get ratings.  She is saying producers should pay for her therapy or she will sue.  So far, ABC has not agreed to pay.

As I previously reported on Sanderson Poe’s Obituary, this further illustrates how delusional and creepy Kelsey really is.  Again, just like his obit, she’s making the whole show about her.  The show did not need Kelsey’s storyline for the ratings.  Sure, it didn’t hurt the ratings, but there were enough other crazy women on the show this season without it needing to be about Kelsey.  Also, during the “Women Tell All” episode, Kelsey at times pretended to cry, but no tears were actually generated.  When coming back from commercial break, she had the same cold, stoic look on her face as she always had.  Nothing about her is authentic and threatening to sue is just one more example of Kelsey trying to stretch her 15 minutes of fame.

I also find it interesting that throughout the season, Kelsey’s sister has come to her defense, but no one from Sanderson’s family has.  He has brothers and a father still alive that have not said a word about this whole ordeal.  It makes me think “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all” and makes me question her authenticity even more.

What do you think?  Should she sue?  Was it all just in the editing? Do you think she killed her husband?  My prediction is that she will keep popping up for years to come still grasping for attention and fame.  I don’t think she’s going to go away quietly.

The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2: Episode 11 (aired 3/17) RECAP

For a recap of last week’s episode CLICK HERE.

Last week’s episode ended with Sarah and Jordan choosing who goes into the final duel competition with the losers of the challenge, Leroy and Nia.  Sarah’s vote was for Johnny and Nany and Jordan’s vote was for Jay and Jenna.  So let’s see how this pans out and who ends up going in….

So it looks like Sarah’s decision sticks and it really is the ballsiest move that has been played in a very long time on The Challenge.  Johnny and Nany did not see that coming, they thought Sarah had their backs.  But Sarah wants to win and she knows it will be very hard to do with Johnny in the final.  Sarah feels terrible about it though and she’s very scared of facing them.

They walk into the hotel in Panama City and Nia immediately starts attacking both Sarah and Jordan.  Johnny tells Sarah she’s just as big of a snake as Wes is in the game.  He then calls her “a modern day Judas.”  Leroy gets mad at Nia for yelling at Sarah instead of getting her head in the game at the elimination.  Sarah just sits on the couch as Nany takes her shots at her now too.  I have to hand it to Sarah though, she’s staying very calm through everyone yelling at her.

The cast then gets a text from TJ that tells them to look in the minibar.  At the minibar they find envelopes with each of their names on it.  Inside are plane tickets to Norway!!  They’re leaving in the morning for Norway!!  Nany then asks where Norway is.  Oh boy.  Sarah finally breaks down and cries because she finally breaks from all the horrible things people were saying to her.

They arrive in Norway in a very cool hotel and are served a very nice dinner.  Sarah feels the tension towards them and Jay and Jenna don’t like that they have been called “a lay up” or an easy way for the others to win.

The four who are on the chopping block go in to a bedroom and start mocking Sarah.  Sarah can hear every word they’re saying from the other room.  Jordan finally shouts out to Nia “You can’t quit on challenges and talk sh*t about anyone else!”  So then Nia comes out and gets all in Jordan’s face saying she’s won 3 elimination challenges, etc.  Meanwhile Leroy is getting mad that Nia keeps getting heated and in people’s faces because they can’t change any of the decisions that were made.  No amount of yelling is going to change anything.  Then Nia really crosses the line going after Jordan about him having a vagina and she touches his crotch and says she’s talking about “this.”  Jordan says in his interview “we can’t touch you there (meaning a guy can’t touch a girl like that) so don’t touch me there.”  Nia then calls him a fa**ot and goes on to say more derogatory things included that the gays already love her so they won’t turn against her for the things she said.  Ugh!

Nia touching Jordan

Later, TJ shows up.  Oh please tell me they’re going to kick Nia out!!  TJ calls the gang all today.  TJ tells Nia “I want you to grab your stuff and come with me.”  Nia packs her bags and she’s gone.  The rest don’t know yet if it’s part of the game or if she is being kicked out for putting her hands on Jordan.

The group goes out to party, because that’s what they do.  Leroy is sad that Nia isn’t there and he’s worried.  Meanwhile Nany is taking shot after shot and getting really drunk.  Which really makes Johnny Bananas mad because they have elimination coming up.  They get her back to the hotel and she and Jenna are falling all over the place.  They are a mess!!

Elimination time and Leroy still doesn’t have his partner.  TJ finally explains that Nia crossed the line physically with somebody and “we here at The Challenge do not take that lightly – So she’s out of the game.”  Then TJ says “Fortunately for you, you have more than one ex….” and out walks THERESA!!!  As Bananas puts it “he just got rid of a donkey and replaced it with a race horse.”  Wow, that just does not seem fair.  This is going to be interesting!!

“X-Battle” is the name of the challenge.  Rip the X out of the opponent’s hand.  The guys are up first.  Leroy and Bananas place their hands on the X bars.  They’re really scrapping for it!  They eventually get out of bounds and have to start over again.  Johnny believes he has fractured his rib.  They start again and Leroy gets it!  Now the ladies are up.  Teresa and Nany are ultimate rivals.  Nany just whips the thing and hip checks Theresa onto the ground.  Teresa starts kicking Nany in the face.  This is just purely brutal to watch!  Theresa got it and she Leroy have won and are in the finals!!!  Theresa’s first final!!

Final Challenge!!!  TJ explains to them about Norseman mythology about trolls creating roadblocks along their path and making people perform tasks, sometimes simply for their own amusement, before they can continue.  They will go along this path and pass these checkpoints, completing the tasks, all the way up Mount Slogan.  TJ tells them they HAVE to finish to get money.  First task is to take a helicopter, jump from the helicopter into the water, get on kayak and row 10 miles.

They take off in their helicopters and then it’s TO BE CONTINUED…..  We will find out the results of the final next week!!  Woohoo!!  I wish I could have Sarah and Leroy win first place.  🙂

The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2: Episode 10 (3/10) RECAP

IMG_2649Last episode we saw Johnny and Nany return from Exile and are back in the game.  Then Sarah and Jordan nominated LeRoy and Nia to go into the Dome against Jay and Jenna…. which created a huge tornado of drama when Nia started yelling at everyone.  That got Nany especially heated up, and that’s where tonight’s episode starts off…. with the two of them at each other’s throats.

Nia getting heated up got Johnny Bananas fired up.  Now Leroy and Bananas are at odds.  Sarah tells the house that of course she wants to go to the finals with the easiest teams… that’s how you win the game.  She’s been on the show for 8 seasons and has never won a final.  Bananas agrees with Sarah and Jordan’s move and says that’s exactly how the game gets played if you want to win.

IMG_2652The Dome elimination: Wes and Teresa, Leroy and Nia, come out into the dome. TJ announces that the challenge is “Hall Brawl”.   They have done this before on different challenge seasons.  The contestants start on either side of the hallway.  On go, the guys will race towards each other and do whatever they can to get to the other side.  When the guys get to the other side, the women can take off into the hallway and do the same thing in order to get to the other side and ring the bell first.  I would be SHOCKED if Wes and Teresa win this… Leroy and Nia are just so much bigger.  The guys take off and Wes dives into a fetal position trying to stop Leroy.  Leroy just walks right over the top of him and gets to the other side, sending Nia running down the hallway.  She collides with Teresa right in Teresa’s face, manages to get past her easily and then rings her bell.  Leroy and Nia – 1, Wes and Teresa – 0.  However, Wes is on the ground and not moving.  The medics are tending to him.  Nany mutters “It sucks to suck” and laughing.  Wes gets up and says his back is killing.  TJ tries to tell him it’s not worth it and he shouldn’t compete.  But after Wes talks with Teresa he decides to continue anyway.  He and Leroy run at each other, and Wes ducks low again and Leroy climbs over him again and runs to the opposite end.  Nia and Teresa run at each other now and Teresa’s really fighting hard.  She’s pulling Nia as far as she can away from her goal but ultimately Nia still gets to her bell first and wins it for her and Leroy.  I am so sad to see Wes go home!!  He played such a good game and if Johnny Bananas had not come back from Exile, he could have easily won this whole thing! Bananas and Nany are gloating now and it’s just hard to watch.

The next morning, Nia “makes an apology tour” (as Sarah puts it) and says she’s sorry to the others in the house.  She actually seems very sincere and calm.  The group pack their bags and they’re off to Panama City for a nighttime challenge…. never before have they done a nighttime challenge.  The name of the challenge is “Never Let Me Down.” Using a series of 5 different ropes, they need to scale a skyscraper building and make their way down it.  Both teammates will start out on a large plank that’s sticking out from the 50 story building and make their way down their own rope.  When they get to the end of the rope they will need to transfer to the next rope.  They will do this five times.  But they have to wait for their partner to reach other bottom of their rope too before they can move to the rope.  Whichever team makes it the farther faster wins.

IMG_2660Leroy and Nia, Jay and Jenna are up first.  The other teams don’t get to watch, they can only listen. This is the scariest challenge yet.  There is no way I could do this challenge with how afraid of heights I am!  The teams are off!  Leroy and Nia are to the bottom of the first ropes and need to transfer to the next.  After some hesitation, they go for it and Nia misses the rope and plummets several stories.  Scariest thing ever!!  Leroy decides he just has to go for it and try to complete it as fast as possible so that if any other person falls off at that same point, at least he will be faster than their remaining player.  Jenna is struggling on her team to make the transfer.  Jay did it without too much of a problem.   Jenna reaches out, gets the second rope, and then is able to keep going. Leroy then makes it to the bottom and rings his bell. When Jenna gets to the third rope she loses her grip and ends up sliding down the rope and ultimately falls off.  Jay keeps going but then he falls off too.

Now Sarah and Jordan are up and Bananas and Nany.  Again, Jordan is at a huge disadvantage because he doesn’t even have much of a right hand.  Sarah and Jordan make the first transfer well.  However, Nany is struggling to make the switch to the second rope.  When Sarah tries to make the transfer to the third rope she falls, and shortly later Jordan falls as well.  Nany on her team is really struggling and Bananas is having trouble hanging on.  That leaves Nany by herself up there.  Nany makes it to the third rope and then loses her grip and falls.  The teams don’t know who fell off where, so they really don’t have an idea of how well they placed.

TJ announces that the two teams in last place are Leroy and Nia and Bananas and Nany.  The last place is obviously Leroy and Nia because as a team they only got to the second rope.  The team that is the power couple and going to the final is Sarah and Jordan!!!!  Love Sarah!!  So happy for her!!!

IMG_2664TJ then tells Sarah and Jordan they have to decide right now who is going into the dome with Leroy and Nia.  Sarah whispers in Jordan’s ear and he immediately says “what?! no!  no no no no.”  Sarah is like “c’mon… we have to… yes!”  Sarah then announces what she wants is for Bananas and Nany to go in.  She wants to make it easier to win the final.  Bananas is infuriated with Sarah and Jay calls it the ballsiest move in Challenge history.  Bananas, who earlier in the episode, was congratulating Sarah on her game play and agreeing that you have to eliminate strong players, is now the victim of that same scenario.  However, Jordan’s not on board with this and we don’t know how it will pan out.  It is TO BE CONTINUED…..

The Bachelor: Chris Soules – After the Final Rose RECAP

So we just saw Chris Soules propose on the finale of The Bachelor (click here for the recap of how it went down) and now it’s time for the live “After the Final Rose” where something “shocking” is supposedly going to happen.

Chris Harrison brings out Chris Soules to discuss if he still has feelings for Becca and does he still plan to marry Whitney.  Chris S tells Chris H right off the bat that Whitney is perfect for him and he can’t wait to finally be public with her and for it to be out in the open.  Soules seems to be struggling, once again, to find the right words to articulate how he feels though.  He seems extremely nervous.

Harrison then asks Soules if he was in love with Becca.  Soules says that he was falling in love with her.  Chris felt like Becca just wasn’t ready, and wasn’t in the same place as he is as far as settling down.  He said he’s not looking back and just wants to look forward with his future with Whitney.  Soules says that Whitney’s only been watching her own dates that have aired so she doesn’t get hurt or unnecessarily upset over anything she sees.

Harrison then brings Becca out to sit down with Soules.  Becca said it was a hard episode to watch back.  She said that she still has a lot of respect for him and she just couldn’t get to that point she needed to be at in the end.  Becca still says that she has never been in love and maybe she shouldn’t have gone on the show never having been in love. She’s a lovely girl, very beautiful, but man she still bores me to tears!

Whitney comes out and they get to see each other for the first time in public!  She is in a sparkly champagne colored dress that’s as bubbly as she is.  They seem genuinely happy together, very giddy.  Whitney says again that she didn’t watch the show back.  She said she didn’t want to see him with other women and she’s confident of what they have.

Harrison then shows a clip of his parents showing up at the barn right after the proposal and they are just over the moon excited he proposed to Whitney.  Such a cute moment!

Chris Harrison then questions Ashley S in the audience about how he asked her on the Women Tell All if she would be on Bachelor in Paradise but she didn’t give a clear answer then.  So he asks her again if she will be on it.  Her response “I suppose… I might be there.”  Harrison says “I’m going to take that as a yes!”  Crazy girl…. it will definitely be good TV, but I feel like she’s being exploited.  I think she just needs help, honestly.

Then Jimmy Kimmel came on stage and made some jokes… yada yada yada… and then he brings out a real live cow for Whitney and Chris!  Jimmy Kimmel says that the cow’s name is Juan Pablo.  Hilarious!

The announcement of the next Bachelorette!!  The next Bachelorette is…. Britt or Kaitlyn???  For the first time ever there will be TWO Bachelorettes…. the live audience does not seem on board with this idea.  The 25 guys opening night will make the decision of which Bachelorette they are more suited for.  What a weird season it’s going to be!  Chris Harrison asked what went through their heads when they found out it was going to be the two of them together.  Kaitlyn candidly blurted out “well that’s not ideal!”  Love her honesty!  It’s not ideal for us viewers either!!

The Bachelor: Chris Soules – Finale RECAP

Bachelor Finale Whitney and Becca

“It is now time for the dramatic season finale of The Bachelor!” said in my best Chris Harrison impression.  Every season seems to fly by so fast!!  I feel like we hardly know these girls!  Will he pick Becca or Whitney and who does his family think he will be best with?  Time to find out!!

Chris Harrison greets the live audience and promises that there is a shocking turn of events!  Ooooooh!

Chris Soules is back home in Arlington, Iowa.  As typical with The Bachelor, he’s in love with two different women and he can go either way and has no idea what he’s going to do.  He meets up with his large family and everyone is pretty emotional to see Chris.  He seems stressed and worried about making a decision.

Whitney gets to meet his family first.   Whitney comes into Chris’s parents’ house just full of energy and warm and loving.  She tells the family about their trip to Chicago and about her life in Chicago.  She also explains how she wanted to go on the show specifically because of Chris.  She cries as she tells them how much she loves him and how much she appreciates being there with him.  Whitney sits down with Chris’s sisters and tell them that she feels she can be a nurse anywhere and what’s important to her is love and family.  She loves that Chris has a tight knit family and she wants to be a part of it.  She gets a sense from the sister that they’re pulling for her.

Chris sits down with his sister and they’re giving their glowing endorsement of Whitney.  Chris then talks about Becca… and his tone is a lot more serious and is having a hard time articulating what he likes about her.  He just states that they have a certain kind of chemistry.

Whitney then sits down with Chris’s mother and tells her the reasons she loves Chris.  Whitney is so poised and confident even as she talks about hard, emotional feelings.  It’s nice to see someone express their feelings so freely with the whole family.  I am not sure I could do that so openly.  Chris’s mom comments that Chris is Whitney’s dream… what more could she ask for?

Chris sits down with his brothers-in-law and father and explains the differences between his feelings for Whitney and his feelings for Becca.  One of the things he points out is that Whitney has been expressive about her love for him but Becca has not.  She hasn’t said she’s falling in love with him.  His brother-in-law, Jason, questions if he’s more attracted to Becca because she’s the unobtainable one.  He says as guys, they’re naturally more attracted to the woman at the bar that no man can get.

Now it’s time for the family to meet Becca.  She comes in very warm and a little more outgoing than I was expecting.  At dinner she tells them about her road trip to Arlington she took with the other girls and jokes about how small the town is and the family laughs agreeably. Becca tells his sisters that after the show, it’s going to be long distance for awhile until they know for sure.  She doesn’t want to move until they’re both absolutely sure they’re going to be together forever.  The sisters then voice their concerns over Becca not knowing if she really loves him.  They tell him that she needs to give a little more.  Chris is hoping that Becca will be able to tell him that she loves him.

Becca flat out tells Chris’s mom that she is not yet in love with him.  But then Becca talks about these moments where she’s miserable without him and thinking about losing him and she just wants him happy and doesn’t want him hurt.  His mom tells her that those are signs of love.  But Becca still says that she’s not ready to say yes to a proposal and the more his family talked about Arlington the more stressed she felt.  She feels she and Chris just need to talk, but there isn’t time on this date.

Chris then has one last date with both women to figure out what he wants to do.  Chris has a date with Becca first.  His face just lit up when he saw her.  They sit on the bed together and have a talk.  He asks her if she can see herself with him, in the small town… how does she see herself?  She says that she’s just so excited to be together but she can’t make any promises as far as a timeline in which she would be ready to pack up and move and be with him.  He seems very serious and sad…. and sweaty.  He’s sweating a lot.  He tells her that’s scary and he doesn’t know how to take it.  She says that she wants to be married and wants to have kids, she just doesn’t know when.  He then asks, “why don’t you feel like you’re in love with me?”  She says she doesn’t know and she wishes she could give an answer, but she just doesn’t know.  She says the one thing that she does know is that she wants him, but everything else is fuzzy.  He then asks, “If we fell in love, what would hold you back from being together and having a family.  Straight up honest, and don’t hold back.”  She says, “I guess the uncertainty in what I’m going to do when I move to Arlington and not just taking on what you do.” He asks, “what scares you the most?” She says, “Getting there and then wondering if it’s for me…. what happens when I get there and it’s not….”  He tells her that he would have her back and they could figure it out.  She said, “I can’t wait.”  And then they shared a really strong hug but they both look a bit sad.  Chris is pretty emotional in his interview and breaks down crying.

Whitney’s date… He takes her to his farm.  She is so excited to be there.  They are harvesting corn.  Woohoo!!  (sarcasm)  He shows her the whole process of how corn is processed.  He drives her around and shows her all the farms that his family owns.  Huge amount of farms!  Then they arrive at Chris’s house.  Whitney says it just feels 100% right.  Chris has a beautiful home and Whitney says that she feels like home there.  She again tells him that she loves him and wants to be with him.

Back at Whitney’s hotel, and Chris is hoping for an “ah-ha” moment when everything just clicks and feels like he’s making the right decision.  Whitney shared her excitement for Arlington and small town things.  Then she says they need to get a little more serious and she has some questions for him.  She asks him if he has any final thoughts before they go into the final decision.  He asks her “what makes you feel so certain about you and I?”  She tells him that he’s exceeded all expectations she had of him.  Whenever they’ve been together, he’s made her feel comfortable.  And it just continued to get deeper and that sometimes it’s not something you can describe, it’s just something you feel.  Sometimes you can’t explain it, it just is.  He looks serious and almost sad, like he’s forcing a smile.  I’m having a hard time reading him.  He said “what you just said is something I reciprocate and feel the same way… no matter what happens.”  Yikes!  Talk about mixed signals… what is that supposed to mean?! He said he feels good about being there with her.  But he looks sad…. is he sad because he knows he has to break up with Becca or is he sad because he doesn’t want to pick Whitney even though she’s the better choice?

Next morning, Chris says he’s still undecided.  Even as he looks at the engagement rings, he’s unsure which woman he wants to give it to.  Whitney and Becca both look so beautiful in their dresses.  I have no idea what Chris is going to do, but I would not want to be one of those girls right now.  Especially being the one he picks and watching this unfold.  I would want the man who picks me to be 100% sure I’m the one he wants to be with and not some other girl.  He says he may not propose to anyone because he’s so torn at this moment.

Meanwhile Chris Harrison keeps teasing us that something shocking is going to happen on “After the Final Rose” special!  Suspense is killing me!!

The final rose takes place in a barn that they have really decked out.  Chris says he’s devastated to make this decision he has to make…. to break up with someone.  The first girl out of the limo is…. Becca.  Whew.  Even though this is painful to watch.  Oh but he just greeted her and kissed her.  He tells her all about the things he loves about her.  And he says that he can see her being his wife….. but she’s not really ready.  He doesn’t think it’s fair to either of them.  He doesn’t think he’s the guy to give her what she needs.  Becca gracefully says that she appreciates him being so honest and he’s going to be a terrific husband.  But then he walks her out.  Becca doesn’t even seem very sad at this point.  Driving away in the limo, Chris is more upset than Becca seems to be.  She says she’s in a state of shock, but she’s not crying.  She said she just can’t process it.  She really doesn’t show much emotion at all!  This is kind of crazy to watch.  She just really doesn’t seem to care!

So now… will he propose to Whitney??  She is standing before Chris and just trembling.  I think it’s nerves and how crazy cold it is in there.  You can see their breath.  She gives him a speech and she just lays it all out about how she feels.  Chris takes a deep breath and smiles and tells her about how each moment was special and how natural and easy everything is.  And he tells her he loves her and he gets down on one knee and asks her to marry him!!  I’m kind of shocked honestly.  I thought he would pick her, but I was really unsure if he would propose or not.  Yay!!!  I just wish he was more certain about it from the beginning of tonight’s episode.  It kind of makes him a little schmucky.  He then gives her the final rose and they tell each other again they love each other.  I hope they’re happy and they last!  I don’t know how I would feel being her and watching this episode though!!

Okay…. stay tuned for my recap of After the Final Rose!

The Bachelor Finale: Who does Chris pick? Details on previous engagement

Bachelor Finale Whitney and Becca

Chris Soules has a tough decision to make between Whitney or Becca on tonight’s Bachelor Finale.  Will he propose to the woman he picks and will she say yes?  I tried to resist reading the spoilers, but I couldn’t help myself and finally read them.  Don’t worry, I won’t reveal what I read regarding who he picked.  What I did find out though is more about Chris’s past relationship before coming on the show.  He has talked about a long term relationship before and even said he was engaged to a woman named Sheena Schreck  However, he didn’t say that they were together for SEVEN years, living together in his house, and he left her DAYS before they were supposed to say “I do.”  Some sources say he is still in love with her and is having a hard time moving on even though he’s made his decision with one of these two final women.  This might not end well if there’s already trouble in paradise.  Can’t wait to see it all play out tonight!

Jax’s dress on American Idol

OMG… she wore THE dress that went viral last week… I still see it as blue and black. 🙂 I haven’t been following American Idol this season, but this is pure genius!

Ben Wilder's avatarOut of the Wilderness

I think it was a genius move for Jax to wear the blue and black dress that was all over social media the last week or so! Pics below…

The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2: Episode 9 (Mar 3)

It is now down to four last couples (or so they think).  Wes and Teresa, Leroy and Nia, Sarah and Jordan, and Jay and Jenna.  Leroy and Wes are gunning for Jay and Jenna and they just need to get Sarah and Jordan on board.  Sarah and Jordan are unsure of Wes’s plan and think it just benefits Wes, not them.  Jay and Jenna are the easiest couple to beat, so Jordan and Sarah want to keep them in the final and get a tougher competitor out before the final.  Jordan tells Wes he’s not going with their plan and then Wes proceeds to try to turn the house against Jordan.  Jordan then starts attacking Wes saying that he’s been on steroids in the past when he’s won challenges.  Jordan then tells Jay of Wes’s plan to get him out.

Then they get a text from TJ that tells them to meet him in the Dome.  Panic ensues!  They have no idea what’s about to come! Continue reading

The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2: Episode 8 RECAP (aired 2/24)

It is now down to the final five: Jay and Jenna, Zach and Jonna, Jordan and Sarah, Wes and Teresa, and Leroy and Nia.  Leroy is gunning for Jay because it was his decision to put Leroy and Nia in the dome last week.

The next morning Sarah is really bothered that she and Jordan are still at odds with each other.  She says she can’t handle it when someone is mad at her.  Sarah decides to write Jordan a letter to try to smooth things over.  Jordan forgives Sarah for the things that were said and done and they hug and make up.  Sarah cries, I cry, it’s just so sweet even though I don’t even like Jordan!!

Challenge time: “Speed Dating”…. The teams are going to jump from one tractor-trailor (semi truck) to another while they’re moving 30 mph.  Holy crap that would be hard!!  Not only do they have to jump from one to another, but they also need to grab two balls from the one rig and then jump back over to the other rig with the two balls and place them in the contraption thing.  They will go one at a time.  First the girl goes, then when she gets back, the guy can go.  They’re going to continue it all the way the road going back and forth.  But there are these smoke tanks in the middle of the road and the trucks will momentarily separate making it impossible to jump.  Also, the guys must stay on the outside of the girls or their safety gear will get tangled up and they will be stuck.  Really???  As if just jumping one time from one truck to another wasn’t hard enough!  Sheesh!

semi truck challengeJay and Jenna determine order because they were last week’s power couple.  So their obvious choice is Leroy and Nia.  Leroy is screaming at Nia to go but she is just frozen with fear.  She finally goes for it and successful grabs two balls and brings them back.  They go back and forth and are actually doing an amazing job.  They collected 10 balls total!  Zach and Jonna’s turn.  Jonna makes it across but on the way back she falls on the second rig and it kills a lot of time.  They collect 11 balls, but Jonna jumped off as the semis split and fell after the time was done.  Zach thinks they might be disqualified and he just LAYS into Jonna.  Screaming at her telling her she shouldn’t have jumped, what was she thinking, etc.  It’s a really ugly side of Zach.  Turns out they aren’t disqualified though and Zach relaxes a bit.  Of course he never apologizes to Jonna though.  Next is Sarah and Jordan.  After they each do a run back and forth their wires get tangled up and they’re not able to make it all the way to the balls on the other truck.  There’s nothing they can do and the result is they only have 4 balls.  Wes and Teresa next…. They did great and ended up with 10 balls.  So not first, but not last.  Final team… Jay and Jenna.  They get their lines tangled but luckily they were able to untangle them and get two more balls by the end, giving them 6 balls total.  So they are not last either.

All the teams have gone and TJ greets them.  He explains that Zach left the one truck before Jonna was back on it so their last ball does not count.  Jonna finds delight that Zach ended up being the one to mess up.  Out of the three teams who got 10 balls, the one with the fastest time ended up being Leroy and Nia!  Sweet revenge!  Now they have the power and Jay and Jenna know they’re screwed.  Sarah and Jordan are automatically in the dome for getting the least amount of balls.

wes-and-leroyZach tries to sit down with Jonna to smooth things over, but his attempt fails because he can’t stop being a jerk.  Jonna says when this is over she never wants to see Zach again.  He has just been horrible to her!!  Leroy and Nia sit down to the power couple dinner and it’s fried chicken.  Leroy comments that none of the other couples got fried chicken, but when it’s the black couple that’s what they got.  But he liked it, so he was just joking around.  Leroy said that he wants to sit down with each couple remaining and try to cut a deal with all of them.  He wants it to be a surprise when it comes to who he votes in to the dome.  No one is going to see it coming.   He tells Zach and Jonna they have nothing to worry about, they’re not going in.  Leroy tells Jay that he wants Wes to go in.  Leroy sits down with Wes and asks him who his number one is, he says Zach.  Wes tells Leroy if he wants to be his number one he needs to send Zach home.  Wes further manipulates Leroy and tells him that if they start working together and leave Jay and Jenna in the game, they have the best chance of going to the finals if Zach and Jonna go home.  Leroy and Nia then tell Zach that he might be going in after all.  Zach obviously then gets upset and start asking if Wes had anything to do with them changing their minds.  Leroy and Nia deny Wes had any doing in it.

TJ greets the group to find out who will join Sarah and Jordan in the Dome.  Leroy announces they are throwing in Zach and Jonna.  Jay and Jenna are relieved even though Jenna and Zach have something going on.  Wes says “Leroy pulled the trigger, Leroy loaded the gun, I just showed Leroy how the gun works.”  Wes is so good!  Love him!  Meanwhile Leroy is mad because Jay and Jenna haven’t approached them to say thank you for saving their butts.  Leroy confronts them and tells them they better show them the same respect in the next challenge and not throw them in to the dome.

Dome time!  “Hammer it Home” Hammer the I-beam down the track and get to the finish line first… they have to trade off… guys have to get it to a certain mark, and then switch off to the girls who have to get it a good distance further, and then switch back to the boys to finish it.  Jordan only has one hand… if Zach loses, it will be a pretty sweet day.  Jordan has a lot of strength, so I’m hoping it doesn’t hinder him too much.  They take off and Jordan’s holding his own pretty well!  Zach is screwing it up by holding the sledgehammer too close to the top.  Jordan has better form and is actually doing a lot better.  Zach is panicking.   Jordan finishes his first leg and hands it off to Sarah.  She’s doing a great job.  Zach then passes it off to Jonna and she catches up to Sarah pretty quickly.  But then Sarah pulls it out and ends up winning!!!  Zach is still treating Jonna like crap.  Sarah tells Jonna to hold her head up and she’s a great competitor.  Zach mumbles “shut the f*** up.”  Real classy.  So happy Zach is gone!!!

Four teams left and they are celebrating!!  Oh but wait…. one team comes BACK that’s been in exhile!! We find out who it is next episode!!

The Bachelor: Chris Soules – Women Tell All RECAP

One of my favorite episodes each Bachelor/Bachelorette season is the Women/Men Tell All!  It rarely disappoints, and given this season’s number of crazies, this should be good!  So I’m all settled in and eager to watch it all unfold!  Can’t wait to see what Kelsey has to say and what the women will say to her!  And Britt and if she’ll have regrets for how she acted and how will her confrontation go with Carly.  Is Kaitlyn still heartbroken??!

So let’s get to it… Chris Harrison greets the live audience and even admits there’s a lot to talk about tonight!  The show clips of Kelsey, Britt, Ashley I, and Jade getting ready and primping in front of the mirror as Chris talks.  Then Chris rolls a tape of he and Chris Soules crashing Bachelor viewing parties.  The first party they crashed, the girls were all wearing cowboy hats.  You KNOW that had to have known they were coming!  All of these corn dishes…. yeah, they knew they were coming.  Then this mom just planted a huge kiss on Chris Soules!!  Party after party, these women scream uncontrollably for Chris.  Some even cry.  Some offer copious amounts of alcohol.  But was fun to watch!

A look now at some of the drama that happened this season…. Jillian and her hairy, naked censored butt.  Ashley S with her bizarre behavior.  Ashley I drama.  Kelsey saying her story is amazing!  Britt being fake about loving Arlington and Carly telling Chris she’s lying.  And now Britt is in tears already from watching Carly being a bit mean.  Britt turns to Carly and says “why did you pretend to be my friend the whole time?” Carly tries explaining herself and says it’s been a confusing situation.  The other girls start jumping in and Carly can’t really get an explanation out.

Britt WTA 2Chris invites Britt to the hot seat.  Chris Harrison asks Jade if Britt was fake in the house.  Jade agrees that there were definitely situations where she was being fake.  Carly says she was just trying to be civil.  Jillian calls Carly out about being mean to her in front of Chris and trying to make her look stupid in front of Chris in the limo on the way to the mud run.  Samantha jumps in and agrees.  Jillian just keeps attacking Carly and Chris Harrison has to jump in to get her to pipe down.  Back to Britt, she says that the way the editing worked, they showed the women talking about how Britt doesn’t want to have children and then it cuts to Britt being on the hot air balloon ride with Chris talking about how she wants to have children.  She said that she really thinks the ladies, namely Ashley I, misinterpreted something she said because she’s always wanted children.  Then she lists off a myriad on things she’s been involved in that relate to children.  Ashley I says she didn’t misinterpret anything. Chris cuts to a commercial and says we’ll talk about that in a minute.  Oh and the audience is cheering Britt on, which I can’t stand.  I’m not a Britt fan.

Coming back from break, Ashley I says she likes Britt but the conversation Britt had to her was that she wasn’t ready for marriage, she wasn’t ready to have kids just yet.  Not that she didn’t EVER want to have kids. Carly then retells the story about Arlington and how Britt said “my biggest fear is that someone would just leave me here.”  Britt tries defending herself saying that she realized she wouldn’t be living in the town she would be living in a home with Chris.  I don’t know… I’m not buying it.  She says it reminds her of where she grew up.  She grew up in Detroit!!  Arlington is nothing like Detroit.  Chris H asks her if she believes she would still be on the show if it weren’t for Carly.  She says yes and begins to cry.  Oh please!!  The she attacks Carly and says that she believes the mean things she said about her comes from a place of pain/hurt.  She doesn’t want to use the word jealousy, but she basically means Carly was jealous of Britt’s gorgeous looks.  I really feel like Carly’s getting the bad end of the stick here.  True, she said some mean things, but a lot of it was warranted or just meant to be funny.  Britt feels she was THIS close to finding true love and is crying as she says the words.   She’s an actress.  I just don’t believe the sincerity.

Britt 3They come back from commercial and Chris H is having a heart to heart with Britt.  She’s just sobbing to him about how she feels Chris S could have been the one.  She’s still sobbing when someone comes up and asks her to sit back with the ladies because taping is about to begin.  I swear they better not be setting her up to be the next Bachelorette and them trying to win the audience’s sympathy.  I do not want Britt to be the next Bachelorette!!  Grrr.

Kelsey WTAOkay, the juicy part, on to Kelsey!  She takes her place in the hot seat with Chris H.  They show the clips of Kelsey retelling her “amazing story” and her whole dramatic journey on the show.  After watching the clips, Kelsey manages to squeeze out a few tears and says “I feel like I am grieving all over again.” She asks for a tissue, Chris H gives her his pocket square, and she says, “are you sure?  It’s silk” and giggles.  He asks her if she has any idea why the women don’t like her.  She throws out a couple reasons including “I don’t know… I use big words.” She defends her actions.  Chris doesn’t let any of the other women get any comments in.  Kelsey basically just says blah blah blah… I just want to be accepted and not sure why I wasn’t.

Back from the break, Juelia, also a widow, says that Kelsey is the most calculating person she has ever met.  Juelia says she would never use her tragic story as a way of getting further on the show or getting anything from anyone.  Megan says that she watched the show with her mom… Megan’s dad had dropped dead while running (same as Kelsey’s husband Sanderson Poe) and she just couldn’t fathom someone using that type of story to get the rose.  Trina calls her out for saying she has “an amazing story.”  Samantha feels that Kelsey getting the sympathy rose resulted in her going home.  Kelsey says she just asks for all of their forgiveness and is sorry if she offended anyone.  Chris asks Ashley I if she was accepts Kelsey’s apology, and she said it’s hard after some of the mean things she said.  Chris points out that she also said mean things about Kelsey.  Ashley doesn’t disagree.  Kelsey says the one thing that Ashley said that was so despicable was that Sanderson Poe may not have even been real.  That she made the whole story up.  (See Sanderson Poe’s obituary here… he was indeed a real person, but the obit is very bizarre)  Ashley says that every time Kelsey brought up her story of Sanderson, she showed no emotion at all.  The other ladies agree.  Britt and Jillian defend Kelsey saying that Sanderson was real and she doesn’t deserve the heat she’s getting.  Kelsey says that she regrets saying she has an “amazing story” and that it hurt a number of people.  Then she goes on about how amazing she really is for finding love, losing love, and overcoming the grief she felt after he passed.  The whole time Kelsey sniffles, but she doesn’t actually cry.  She still seems so cold and emotionless.

Ashley S WTANow the spotlight is on Ashley S and her bizarre behavior.  After clips of her behavior, she joins Chris H down front and center.  She gives Chris H an onion and tells him that the show inspired her to start growing onions.  Her bizarre behavior continues and she’s just silly.  Chris then asks her to be on Bachelor in Paradise.  The audience starts chanting “Do it! Do it! Do it!”  Her response: “It’s so weird… Just that we’re on TV.”  And she just smiles and never gives an answer.  Does that mean yes?  Or no? So strange!!

CHRIS HARRISON, JADEJade’s turn in the hot seat now.  We watch her journey with Chris and it is heartbreaking to watch.  Everything seemed just so perfect up until the nude modeling part of it.  Jade tears up and says it’s hard to watch it back.  She said she felt like things were good, she didn’t expect to go home.  She said that it was Chris’s blog that crushed her.  He stated that he liked the shyer side of her and that was the person he knew and that when her family said she’s the complete opposite and that was disturbing to him.  She just wishes that he had been more honest about that and why he sent her home.  She’s hoping to find out exactly why she was sent home.

Kaitlyn WTAKaitlyn’s turn!  Kaitlyn says it’s not easy watching your heart break on TV. She says she still thinks about this every day…. “why couldn’t he just have given one little sign that I wasn’t ‘the one'”.  She’s happy she could express all those feelings to him she was feeling but she’s still just confused.

Chris Soules is finally coming out on stage!  Britt is sobbing as soon as he walks out, Kelsey still has the stone cold look on her face.  Chris H calls Britt to come up.  Britt gives Chris S a hug… it’s a long hug…. long, awkward hug.  Carly shakes her head.  Britt takes Chris’s hand and says that she doesn’t blame him for believing Carly.  Chris says that the decision wasn’t based on whether he believed Carly or not.  There were other factors.  Chris said he wouldn’t let what anyone else says about their relationship affect the relationship.  Kaitlyn confronts him…. Chris looks very uncomfortable.  She asks for an un-sugarcoated reason for why she was sent home.  Chris says there just isn’t a reason… he was falling in love with all three women.  She asks why didn’t he give her the common courtesy of not making her go through the rose ceremony.  He apologizes and says he could have handled it a lot better.  In that moment he just handled it the best he could.

Jade comes up on stage to confront Chris as well and brings up his People.com blog.  Chris says he was more caught off guard by her brother’s calling her a “wild mustang.”  He says again that it had nothing to do with her past.  She calls him out for calling the situation of looking at the photos as “awkward” and that he should have been more honest about his feelings about it.  It WAS awkward!!!  But I still feel bad for Jade.  😦

Bloopers!!  And then Chris Harrison reveals he has written a romance novel called The Perfect Level.  Really?!!  That might just be the most bizarre thing that happened in tonight’s episode!

Can we talk about how beautiful Carly was tonight and how she did not deserve to get beat up the way she did?  Completely unfair.  All the girls have said horrible things about each other and I just feel Carly did not deserve as much heat as she got tonight.

Carly WTA
